I want to try chanting nam myoho renge kyo to see if it can help with my teaching. Is there any way you can spell out the proper pronunciation? Do I have to chant it out loud or can I just chant it within?

Here is a link a friend of mine, I grew up with set up just for this purpose. ->http://americangongyo.org/ click on item 3 and he will explain what it means and how to say nam myoho renge kyo. phonetically it is difficult to share without hearing it. You can download the file to your computer, phone or any pod type device and listen any time you want.

Yes if I could recommend just one book it would be "A New Earth " by Eckhart Tolle. It's about 300 pages but well worth the time and money. If you are seeking peace and understanding this book could definitely help you out.
