The Pat's Sad Sack

So now the NFL are babies?

I wouldn't call the Ravens defense babies and they complained about it earlier this season.

It's cool. With your attitude, it seems like you may just be the baby.

Edit: are you ok with cheating in professional sports?
NO! The rule is just fucking stupid period. You don't hear me crying like these dramatic bitches cause they lost. I don't care. Just saying, this whole thing is fucking stupid. I wouldn't even fine them. I would just change the fucking stupid rule and let a team choose whatever air pressure they feel makes them more effective. It's that simple. Stupid rule.

Well right now it is a rule and the pats blatantly violated the rule.

Regardless of what you feel, the rule is there for a very good reason.

Can't have teams running around with barely any air in the ball so they would never fumble the ball. Then the kickers wouldn't be able to kick the ball. It's a good rule whether you understand it or not.

The Pats are repeat cheaters. That's what this is all really about.

The balls used for kicking are different than the teams balls used on offense. Teams don't get to mess with the balls used for kicking.

Also, the colts aren't whining about this. They have said it didn't make any difference to the outcome of the game. They know they would have lost either way.

Are you a Ravens cheerleader by any chance?

Perhaps disappointed that you won't be in the SuperBowl?

I say fine them and be done with it. It is a violation of rules not grounds to disqualify the team.

There are now stories that are coming out saying that not every ball was 2# underweight.

I think maybe people should wait for the facts... Like you all did with Zimmerman and Ferguson... LOL!!!

I'm not sure I trust the NFL to come out with facts anymore.
From what I have heard and I give a shit because I havent watched a football game all season, the procedures for handling the game balls is pretty fucking shoddy unless you are going to take the teams word for it. So, they should fix the fucking procedure and shut up about it.

Fine the team 25K and move on.

Not like they are not going to play the superbowl.. And there is no evidence the ball weight affected the game in any way.

why is it so hard to believe that game balls certified and handed back would become tampered with?

it's impossible to lose 2 pounds on a ball, 11 out of 12 balls within the hour or two of certification unless leaky.

like going to proctored exam only to have proctor leave the room.:wall:

what ever happened to the good old days of "carnac the magnificent"?: "I hold in my hand the envelopes. As a child of four can plainly see, these envelopes have been hermetically sealed. They've been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnall's back porch since noon today. No one knows the contents of these envelopes, but you, in your borderline divine and mystical way, will ascertain the answers having never before seen the questions."

disqualify these cheaters, already!:finger:

<schuylaar is playing air bass>
Let me just say upfront that I don't give a rat's ass about football or any other pro sport. However, how is this deflate-gate an issue? BOTH teams played using the same damn ball. If deflating the ball gives the offensive team an advantage then BOTH offensive teams got an advantage. Neither team got anything the other team didn't get. I say hang Tom Brady and Andrew Luck both from the same goal post.

Finally, just let me say, who gives a fuck?

<edit> Forgot to add: Thanks Obama!

Nope, each team uses different balls when on offense.

Are you ready for it? I've been experimenting with watching FOX "news" again...
So far I can conclude O'RLY is drunk, but he's a pro at holding his liquor. It still floods his brain, though.
But I was awoken this morning (I left it running while I slept...trying to see if it works subconsciously, too) by a new word which immediately caused me to wake up laughing in disbelief.

Are you ready? This word is going to take off...

BALLGHAZI !

I shit you not, that is what they said. I'm still gobsmacked they are talking about it still. They were also talking about Alberta Asphalt Juice, too. That struck me as weird. Of all the news stations in America, FOX is the only one that gives a shit about Canada? :-?

H, you are smart enough to know that O'RLY does not do news. He does opinion.
