The Official Canna Coco & Nutrients Thread

i was at around 750 ppms but i've bumped it up to 950 and they are greening up now.

thanks for the help man!

got another question for you....

what do you think about using blumats with the whole line of canna?
would any of them clog the drip lines?

also...how often would you change out the res with an autofeed system? i heard canna stays good in the res for about a week, but maybe less if you have airstones in it. i was thinking of changing the res every 3 days or so.

i've read that with blumats there is not much runoff...would this be a problem with salt buildup? i was thinking that i could handwater to achieve a lot of runoff with very low ppms of the whole canna line as a flush, maybe every 3rd day.

I've never used blumats.. I'm sure u can get good results with them, but I doubt that u can get the best results possible with them. That's just my educated guess though.

so is the cannaboost ok to use until harvest?

canna schedule says to use it all the way through flowering. it seems to have no ec or ppms to it. i don't think there are any other brand of boosters that can be used up til harvest...most would require being flushed out because they are fertilizers as well...am i right?

Yes, that is all correct... But its likely just a waste of money to use it during the last few days before harvest IMO.

do you think you get "cleaner" bud if you use the entire canna line? i would think that using other bloom boosters that are fertilizers also might make the bud more chemmy than using canna boost? just curious to hear your thoughts on that.

if cannaboost was at a more reasonable price...would you be using that instead of moab?

from reading about cannaboost on the website, it sounds like there is nothing else on the market that is quite like it. sounds very clean to me. makes me think that the taste is going to be better with cannaboost than with other fertilizer boosts out there.

so when i grew in soil i used to use neem oil mixed in with the feeding water every now and then as a preventative of any diseases and pests in the soil.

can you do this in coco? will the neem oil cause any gunking up or any staining of the roots? would this be even needed?, or does one of the canna additives already have something that works as a preventative already?

also...what are the cons of using molasses? will it stain roots? or cause the coco to gunk up? is it not very soluble in water? why does canna not recommend using molasses?

thanks!

this thread is awesome...been gaining a lot of knowlege...thanks for all the info!

Does anyone have a good feeding schedule for MOAB instead of boost? I was thinking of using it after PK to 1 or 2 weeks before harvest. Has anyone used it for early flower as well?

No - But I have used it at the suggested doesage from after PK till the last week. Just cut back the base A&B n=by about 1/3 and you should be fine.

no, but i'll save you a lot of frustration - DO NOT use FF soils. They suck - that is all

If you want something which will surely be BAD ASS get the Canna line & some Canna Coco, then you'll be happy!

I'm starting my second grow ever. I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible but do it organic. My last grow was dwc not very happy. So I was wondering what are good organic nutes that I would need for my coco medium? If possible to add everything at the beginning so all u have to do is water.

Hi everyone. I'm new here, was after some info on Canna Start! For seedlings. I'm planning a Outdoors UK grow have 3 seedlings on my windowsill and have been looking through the Canna range. Any feedback on the aforementioned would be great.

Cheers for the reply dude! It's my 1st attempt at growing so I'm a wee bit reluctant to use when the seedlings are looking fine without it. :???:

Ive obviously read the bottle, do you or have you ever used it man?

I was planing on to flush this like I do with soil. Use final phase to flush for first week with Czyme + molasses and second week with C'zyme + molasses and last 3 days with plain water.

I have a 9 week strain and on going to my 7th week. First time with coco, and canna products. Should I flush at 8 week or start at 9? I am planning to reuse my coco, so should I flush with molasses and c'zyme or just double does of C'zyme all though the flush. Pointers on this is greatly appreciated. What is the best result for you guys out there that use this product. Thanks

what do you guys think about adding rhizotonic to the cloning solution for taking cuttings? and spraying the leaves with rhizo? would that help them root faster?
