Canna as a main stay but in the last few months i switch a few cycles to AN sensi coco with big bud coco, b-52, overdrive and aptus ecozen and the results are far better then With canna. Although canna is dam near fail proof if your using RO i would pre condition the water to 200 ppm with a Cal-mag product. I think what really was the driving force to Try the coco AN was the PH perfect ability.. Plants love it and I can push them harder with AN then with canna for some od Reason. Next on the list is heavy 16 i got all the stuff to give it a solid test on a few runs to see the outcome there, but my main focus isnt there base or prime its the fire im looking really interested in

Canna makes top notch products, they are just too expensive. I think I could get the same results for about 1/2 the price. I started with canna but couldnt afford it so I switched around and now have a formula that works phenominally. If it aint broke?

Yeah im fairly new to coco so im gona stay with canna for a few grows , just so if I have issues people here can help me out better , but I will also be using something cheaper in future

Now this is what I'm wanting to see. I'd like to see other peoples recipes indepth. Have you heard any thing good about using Bud XL and if so how how do you use and when?

sorry about the delay, As far as my recipe goes the clones, veg, flip, and flowers all have their own. My veg is a one part all purpose, benneficials, kelp sometimes and I am using coco. Veg is an addition of cal mag, fulvic acid(bought in bulk and used in innoculant tea). Bloom is Advanced A/B, Cal -Mag, Pro-Tekt, enzymes, Big Bud, and Shooting Powder to finish. I have other ingredients that based on nuance I will use.

Well, the Shooting Powder is more of finisher and the Big Bud is an initiator. The Big Bud I use because I have a strain that is slow to get producing, it is hard to pinpoint it's role in the end result. I use it at half strength in coco and have been forever so its just part of the process. The Shooting Powder is a product that I see working immediately....24 hours. It really is pretty amazing in a whole different way. It is not just a phospho boost, it sends the flowers back to a developmental vigor. New hairs appear out of nowhere and a second big push packs on mass in big ways. Personally, it is the single most noticable ingredient I have ever seen. I could not afford it a few times and regret not finding a way. Hope it does you well

Familarity with strain and a gut level feeling as to when they are ready to pop is what I reccomend. My problem is that I'm not a well seasoned grower yet and I've not found my favorite strains to stick with. So right now it's gonna be me really studying all the strains I have for the moment growing and see which ones I like the most. They are THC Bomb, Dr Krippling, Critical, Northen lights X Big bud, Skunk Haze, Afghan Kush X Skunk, Covelo Cut Diesel & a secret cross my buddies been working on that I got plenty of seeds to work with. He's nicked named it GDD for now but EVERYBODY has been going bonkers over it so I might be sticking with this one a while for sure. I believe I'm gonna purchase a EZ Cloner machine and start cloning and keeping mothers of my favorite Phenos and really study them with precision. I seem to like Diesels a lot and that Covelo is dam good smoke!! I had to grow that one again
Also since I got so many seeds I believe I'm gonna do a SOG to get a quick harvest with all the extras. That GDD is a Couch Locking Beast!! Love it. I've been reading up on the Shooting Powder and Bud XL and I'm sold. It will go into my regiment this grow. Do you think it would work well in a SOG?

I was just reading up on top shooter. It says it's a improved version on shooting powder. Do you know anything about this product?

Nice! Looking sticky i iust got the 32 EZ Cloner to learn on. I have no idea since I've never done a SOG.
I guess I'll just wing it and read as I go go along. They started popping their little heads late today so I guess I better come up with a game plan fast, lol. I hope all 50 sprout! Would love to tinker around with all of them and see what I can do.

From what i know house and gardens bud xl is the same thing as canna boost, but way cheaper. Lots of good review on bud xl just never gave it a try.

Hi all. Any one using Canna Vega A/B for veg and Flores A/B for bloom ???
Im having dosing issues got a 60L res and can't work out how many ml per L to get the desired ppm, being 700ppm and upwards, at this stage, that is if the meter I'm using is reading right i have been assured it is.The tap water is coming out at 100ppm (The ppm meter I'm using has a three digit display, no decimal point, I'm meant to multiply the result by 10 so water is 010 being 100ppm) I've put in 175ml of Vega A and B result = 074 = 740ppm I think ,now thats 2.5ml per L and the bottle says not to go above 4ml per L so I'm confused, is wot I'm doing/ thinking right. If I'm meant to raise my ppm during veg up to about 1500ppm before triggering and then switch to Flores A and B and have no idea about ppm then but lets start here first any help would be appreciated

I'm switching my lights to 12/12 today and was wondering if I should mix the 13/14 in with the canna coco a+b or should i stop using the a+b notes during flowering. I also have a bottle of boost, can i throw it in the mix too?

Use a+b the whole grow.

Add boost when flowers start growing (not preflowers).

Add pk after the buds pass the puff ball stage and start to run together or spread out. use it only for a week to ten days. usually about week 4 or 5 for me, depending on the strain.

Stop using boost when fresh pistils stop growing out. Start to taper your a+b at that time too.
