Chitoson or crushed crab ..snail..or anything, with a 'shell is a great addition to any garden

it replaces DE earth which can kill ignorant growers/tokers

makes life hell for bugs, fungus gnats etc, and adds a lot of air to your soils

unless you got a friend whose a shrimp fisherman

it can be very difficult to find

just ensure you wash it first,

as the salt attached can throw out your Ph

I can only show people the door they have to walk through it...The way you mentioned is one way to get Chitosan...And there's other ways to get it...But this is my way of getting it, expensive but convenient.bud-factor-x-lg.jpg

5lb bags of shrimp meal are less then $20
AND
I agree with V. Crab (meal) shell too. All of what I use is prewashed..

I also add Neem seed meal to my Veg soils.....That's how you "bug out" soil to start....

Doc give me a break do what works for you, don't come on here talking about aw hell no....Remember I use these products for convenience, otherwise I will be ordering everything I need and making me a super soil which we all know is superior...But like I said I don't have the space or the time or the willingness to do that...My results will speak for themselves!
