SO, the dishwasher needs replacing tomorrow, after I install that, I shall test run it by thoroughly cleaning all the components go the AeroGarden.
Then probably next weekend I'm gonna set up in the spare room again and pop them 2 seeds.
They should be ready to go in the Nug Machine right after I dry this bunch and make a few tweaks and a good cleaning.

Will that aero garden support things until it's time to go in the fridge? I'm guessing your planning on about 30 days or less? Trying to figure out my plan for starting a more consistent schedule as well... I've started things in a rubber maid tote before, but it wasn't a very ideal situation.

HELL yea !
I once started a grow and had to fly outta state to take care of my Dad after surgery and I directed my son how to take care for me, but I had scheduled aq month or so, but added 2 weeks or more to that till I got home to transplant.

Here they were at transplant time.

Oops,
Here is the actual pic the day before transplant... sorry.
So you see, the AG can support 4 plants this size, and more.

very nice! which model/size is that? I think that would be my best option and still be able to transplant it into the ebb/flow.

Well, I learned something yesterday...
At this stage, when I can no longer take the plants out to rinse the roots, I must NOT rinse them in the tub.
Little pieces of roots were knocked off in the process (lots).
I was aware and checked the screen over the drain every hour after refilling and replenishing the system, for a couple hours, and there was a bunch.
Then we went off for a while and were gone a little longer than I wanted.
Anyhow..... DISASTER... (easy... plants are AOK)

The drain screen clogged and the root tub overflowed.
And, of course, the res keeps on pumping more and more fresh water up there courtesy of the auto water valve.
We were gone about 5 hours.
Shed floor was flooded and when I opened the freezer door, water rushed out.

So, I drained everything and started all over, not disturbing the roots as much as possible.
Again I checked the screen every hour till bed and the amount was less and less, so I felt safe going to sleep.
At 6AM lights on, everything was OK.
BUT, I did however turn off the fresh water add back last nite... just in case.

ONE of the tweaks in the down time between grows will be SOME kind of a safety cutoff system that will stop the pump in case of an overflow.
AND a drain from the freezer area down thru the shed floor.
That would be great, but the bottom line... from here on out... I simply drain the root tub, clean the lower res and refill.......

One positive thing is the roots got a thorough flushing and I'm certain, to some degree, the plants got a little flush as well... and the grass around the shed is gonna grow like a mofo !

Sheesh ! :wall:

OH... check out what the wife found for storage.
They are a little translucent, but will block a lot more light than clear.
Got 2, 6-packs and I hope to pack all 12 jars !!!

Some say less is more, I say MORE is more.
Time to do a big defoliate and lose the shade on the buds.

Really starting to smell good now as I defoliate some more and I carry the smell back in the house on my hands and let the wifey smell it. :-)
