The Munky has landed?

Hey everybody, most people call me Munky. My brother and I are still pretty new to this whole industry but after a most movie like experience over the summer (seriously, like some shit straight out of Pineapple Express or something...) we've decided to try growing for ourselves. I'm mostly here for specific, time-learned advice that you don't get from books. So before I quit my yapping, can someone help me figure what to search for advice on the different grow media's??

If you are looking into specific differences in growing styles I suggest you frequent some of the style specific sub-forums and "grow" from there.
This section is generally frequented by people just wanting to say hello.

At the moment I think were pretty satisfied until the build starts to take place. Although a little more information about sealed room environments would be useful.
