The many faces of C99

As busy as I am I just had to start a C99 thread as I have been playing with
Soul & Sly's genetics for quite some time..

I've seen my fair share of phenos from them..

I'm keeping a few selected gals around this run to do some work with ..
These are the results of my bred line 1&2 together...
line 1 consists of C99 from original stock and Joey weed F2's and line 2
is C99 F1 x a 3rd gen ak99 line from JW and bred towards the C99 phenos.

This particular cross has brought out some very nice gals from even small numbers
germinated ,mostly being an abundance of chunky ,Big yielding gals that range in maturation rates.

I have had a flyer show up,the rare sativa pheno as I'll show in pics..

That was my current C pheno
She is a later maturing gal that may need 58-60 days to finish, but these are the initial runs from seed in soil so I can't judge her true maturing potential by that.

Here is the B pheno which was done much sooner at around 49 days in the same conditions.

Both have a slight citrus smell, almost like a lemon tart...NO Pineapple I have not bred for that pheno, but chose to go the other way...

If you want that pheno it's far too easy to acquire as you all know Mosca and DG have an overabundance of that .

they all look sweet bet it is some great smoke
Thank You..

These will be for a trial with a gal in her 60's who has had her spine fused together and the pain has been incredible
I want to supplement my strong deadwood cut to her with something that may help keep her in good spirits and a
strong body buzz as well...

I'm hoping a C99 pheno left to mature or over ripen at about 60 days will offer the perfect combination.

I'll keep 1 of these three that she likes the best for 1 of her regular meds,,,the others will be bred to make
seeds for the future..as will the keeper pheno.

OK and for today I'll wrap it up with the rare sativa pheno that you seldom see

She's a stinker,,similar to what some describe as rotten meat...well not that bad!
she has blunt heads on her colas.

The branches can barely hold the weight and droop downward....very little leaf.

She doesn't like the same nutes as the others and burnt her tips,,she's a light feeder.

A trait with all these phenos is when the are mature the pistils will end up being a beautiful orange ,,really looks nice when done..

I'd rate the C99 stuff a 9 as far as over all enjoyment on all factors ,imho.

TY for the compliments fellas.

Here is a gal that was from the G3 generation prior to this, line 1 side..
Very similar to my B pheno currently.
This was grown in an Ebb N Flow application under 400 watts only using Ionic
Bloom formula...
No stress and perfect conditions.
Any C99 phenos will really take on a different growth pattern when done in hydro
properly,,they really chunk up and get Big calyxes as my next photo will display.

That chunky beauty queen was flowered from a wee little cutting..

Some secondary branches..
I like how they finish so fast the leafs are still healthy and green.
Better than dead zombie plants...

that sativa pheno has the same leaf structure as my
NL Basic#5 x Haze(The Haze pheno) but all of them look great.
bet it will be very good MEDS!!! and you patient should be very satisfied.
especially the one your gonna let run for a lot longer than usual but 60 days i thought there was a % of amber trichs you could have before the bud starts to degrade. it should only take a few extra weeks to get it to go nice and Amber and if you made edibles with it i bet it will cure any ailment.
also that last post the second pic i guess its a Dead Zombie cross looks like its some type of Kush or a pure 100% Afghani Indica very frosty the bud structure just reminds me of my pre98 Bubba and my Pre2K DJ's BB. :joint:

I'll reveg. The sat pheno and work her as well if she fulfills her. End
With great smoke.

Taking down D pheno today..
She's the pineapple smelling gal of the bunch..
Very similar to B ,but not as dense and heavy.

B and D have a trait I breed for...
The chunky flowers that have very nice flower to leaf ratio.
Secondary branches support nice pine cones.

Over all a treat to grow ....

I love some Bros. Grimm work and your Cindy is looking awesome. I lost all of my original lines from the Bros. years ago, I wish I still had them. What are the dominant smells coming off of your C99? Did you get any of the Grapefruit pheno's from the originals?
