If it's at the 5th or 6th node, I'd go ahead and top her to the third
And start building her hub. It's painful to remove all the beautiful foliage, but it grows back fast

Wow, at least I can say I've got the Nutes right on these babies. So healthy. Here is everything just 12 hours after doing all of the pruning.

Hopefully this is the perfect way to utilize
my space. Closet is 8' tall and light can pretty much go to the ceiling. Height shouldn't be an issue IMG_2368.JPG

Topping her is definitely the move, just now contemplating if I want to defoliate her as well.
This is the biggest one in the center of my picture above about 3 weeks ago. I topped at the 3rd node and defoliated everything but the tops on the 2nd and 3rd which I staked down. She still bushed back out of control in no timeIMG_1853.JPG

Haha, she's gorgeous! First run in the current culture dwc with a water chiller and everything looks great, except she is so damn short and bushy!
I have a Psycho Killer with 12 sets of nodes at 6" tall lol
Never seen growth that dense even on Urkle.
Her sisters were almost as short, and one looks topped with an almost perfect flat canopy, other stretched some in flower.
Might be the 5500K leds I veg under.
I think some strains are more prone to be squat than others with higher Kelvin spectrum during veg

What are you vegging under?

This is exactly the structure mine will have. Just going to give her until next friday to recover from her res change as she is drooping. Moved her from 410 to 530ppm so I hope it wasn't too much. Only 28 days in.

Vegging under a black dog phytomax 400. 36" away from the tops. The two other plants I have in 7 gallon smart pots about 48" away and they are a few inches taller and far less bushy

That looks to be a full spectrum light so I doubt the light caused it, and that might be the same for my plant just a stubby pheno.
Although 2 of my 3 short plants are doing very well under flowering
Heres a pic of it a before floweringIMG_20161129_160144[1].jpg IMG_20161130_211355[1].jpg

It's a Super Silver Haze & Neville's Haze cross from Ministry of Cannabis, I got a good deal on 10 seeds. I only popped two, just happened one leaned indica but wow she's a beauty and smells amazing. I expect the one still finishing to pack it on.
@chillok any pics on when you flipped her to 12/12?
I am not doing so well with my sativa strains they stretch more than I thought even when mainlined.
I am thinking less than 8 inches at flip for this round of cali O lat time they reached over 5 feet in the tent.

Mo, I'm @ 9 weeks on Saturday, you think I should go into week 10 of flower?

Breeder says 63 - 68 days.

My calyxes are so fat, but I have pistils that haven't completely fallen off. Almost all the pistils are much darker now with a smaller percentage of them being light.
@FredFlintstoner0420 how tall were they when you flipped to 12/12? Forgive me for asking but what strain?
I like your technique for tying down in a limited space.
