The Main-Lining Thread

I just removed the soft ties that I used to attatch the plant to the cage, the cage opens, slide out, slide in and reattatch soft ties. I was running dwc buckets, no reservoir.
So the cage isn't 1 solid piece? That's sounds perfect! Hey thanks for turning me on to it. Looks like I need to take a trip to lowes tomorrow

I'm wondering if everyone that chose to mainline was satisfied with their decision? I came across a post entitled mainlining is it worth it? In RIU and everyone commenting on it seems to be unsattisfied with their decision to mainline. Few reasons for that were amount of time it took for plans to recover after trimmings and reduced yields. What do you guys think and say? Thanks

well I'm after a way to maximize space in y grow tent because I've ran into height issues in past grows and am just curious what everyone thinks. This thread people seem more positive about it but I came across the other thread so figured id just ask. Also this thread has a ton Of posts but also alot of people not really saying much either. Some pics of plants that look amazing. I just want the whole Story on a variety of people's feelings about it and if after doing it a few times if they continue too. Or went back to old ways?

Its similar to topping, lst, lollipopping. Some do it, some don't. Completely depends on your grow situation, cultivars, etc etc. I don't utilize it anymore due to my short veg times. BTW, it doesnt just automatically tack on 2 weeks....cultivar dependent

Curious what sort of INPUT you are looking for? You have a thread of input 277 pages long. Thats alot of input

I'm looking to have a dialogue with different people about the technique , their thoughts, things to do,not to do,how they compare their yields to other techniques. I'm not sure why your so concerned about what I'm looking for. If you don't like what I post or think it's stupid or pointless you don't have to reply. Like I said earlier I appreciate your input and anyone else's and only reason I mentioned the thread about it being worth it was to start a dialogue. Not to knock it or anything like that. Have a good nit

Yeah you have a good one too. Btw I could care less what you are looking for. What gets on my nerves is people continuously asking for input without reading whats there already. If you have done that, then my bad. :peace:

I was only trying to be succinct. I think that you'll find most of the popular methods of indoor cultivation work well. I would encourage you to try this method and others and find which one you like most. If you are growing to turn a profit I believe there are more efficient methods to turn around product.
