Our water is very high in Manganese and Calcium, so I flushed with regular tap water , then re flushed with purified water then added Dyna-Gro Bloom 3-12-6 using purified water..I hope this helps.
Well, it didn't help much..many leaves showing magnesium issues..bought cal mag no help so far..
I'm starting to lose buds...any advice is appreciated...
Tried epson salt no help..that was before buying calmag

If you are in soil it takes a while for things to correct. Take your time and let the plant recover. Not too much nutes and not too much water. Might also just be a bad plant - it happens.

ok starting week 7 and on the home stretch.

What do you peeps think, how long to go? I am going to start a week of flushing tomorrow and was hoping for next weekend..but new hairs keep appearing and the calyxs are swelling big time.
What size pot is that beauty in?

Hi, been reading about this LST but im confused as to what height I can grow to. Can anyone confirm if you can u leave the plants in veg for a while in order to get a 3+ft plant after mainlining (grow tent 3'x3')? thanks

Absolutely. Your final height is dictated by the maximum
height your light can reach and the type of light. :0)

Mainlining only adds some time to vegging, where in return
you get more tops, better balanced at the same height.

Thanks JD you sound like an experienced grower, can I ask if you would mainline 4 plants (from seed) in 90x90cm? of course space matters but would an extra 10cm make a significant difference?

That is about 3' square (pardon this Yankee)....

Honestly, you are in the same position that I am in, where one
plant would be optimal in your little tent you want four. I have
a 3X3 array of nine in my 4' square tent where four would be
optimal.

I want to try too many breeds to settle for less.

So, to answer your question, I would say Yes.

Check out what SS is doing with 250 (F me!) watts, and a
small enclosure, with a SCROG.

Good luck,

JD

P.S. Had to check my threads list: Here

Thanks Java, yes our eyes are often bigger than our stomachs lol but as you say whats the point in growing only one when there's so many to try  also don't wanna wait too long in veg. Will check out your links soon, cheers mate.

Lets Main-line a clone, and run her under the sun...shall we?

...lets follow the life of the Ace clone thru her early main-lining, and watch as she is seriously bonded, and run under the sun in a 20 gal. smart pot with a custom canopy ring.....sounds fun huh?.......this is real time, so the last pic was taken last night......:leaf:

.....the first pic shows a young clone plant that has been pruned to hold two asymetrical nodes........then allowed to stretch for a week or so......then the bonding begins.....notice the bends are at the same level....very important....she is then pruned for four, allowed to grow for a week or so, then pruned for eight.....allowed to grow a bit, then all four mains are bonded to the pot.....she is repotted to a 5 gal. bucket, and then pruned for 16.........then it gets FREAKY!.....let the serious bondage begin!.....the last pic is a headband from seed.....and you can barely tell the difference between the clone ace, and the seed plant......i will be transplanting the bonded 16 in her flower pot real soon....stay tuned.....nugbuckets:leaf:

Jus a quick question, forgive the basic nature of it mon, but just curious how exactly it goes from the 3rd pic to the 4th pic.. i.e. when and where exactly does a herbal brotha prune for 4 after the initial prune and bondage, mon.. !? Got a sage n sour seedling just moved into its smart pot she's about 6" tall atm, gonna let her beef up a bit more, then chop away n try this....

Just finished my first scrog grow, oddly my 400w produced better than my 600w.... im gonna blame the reflectors and light distance, layout of grow room will be changing now that these 3 got harvested, they ate a LOT of space, lol

Hey guys,
Thought I would share some pictures of my current mainline project. This is my second grow and I decided to try mainlining a clone. The clone is White Poison ( Durban Poison X White Widow). It is just under 6 weeks since I obtained the clone.
Two Pictures, one is the canopy with 8 tops nicely forming, the other is the under workings of the plant.

Referring to my pictures above, once I have the 8 tops going and they are growing vertically, do I also trim all the secondary growth off the "8 tops" as they grow?

Thanks guys for any input.
