ITS SO FUCKING HOT!!! How hot is it?..
It's so hot, that my AC just shit the bed! :finger:
This shouldn't be too long of a line I just got in right? AC guys aren't doing much this time of year are they?... FML!!
Grow room down to 1/2 power, gave them a drench in preparation for the temps to come.. time to get high, and sit in front of a fan with a mister bottle. bongsmilie

Damn man that sucks! my ac in veg took a shit last week and my big veg is completely down. Just under two 8 light 4ft t5's at the moment. It'll work though till my stuff gets fixed.

Weird you're RH is so high budbro18. I just rigged up a mister in front of a fan because mine is so low.

I can run these type setups for quite a few minutes before I get accumulation anywhere. I put two misters like this in my grow room a few weeks ago, but to oscillating fans mounted high up on the walls. I wired the pump to one of THESE RH controllers. Its really nice to have mist automated, I can drop temps in my grow room 10F in just a few minutes, while adding needed RH. Before the AC died, I had the home temp set on 84F, and with no dedicated AC in the 11x11 grow room temps right below 2400 watts of light was only 87F. Only 3F warmer with no dedicated grow room AC, just neg vac and the grow room door wide open. Of course this only works because I'm running a negative vac, if sealed I'd never be able to pump in that much RH, and subsequently I'd need a mini split. The 8" insulated flex ducting I went with helps too, not even warm to the touch.

Here's the main room if anyone wanted to see my mist. It actually came on soon as I started shooting, not sure if you can see any mist though, its really hard to pick up on camera, barely makes it to the plants before it evaporates. It ran for about 30 seconds, that was enough to raise RH 2% and kick off the controller.

Ya you're wondering how the things wires up too eh? I wrote like everyone selling one of these on eBay, damn if anyone could tell me, but eventually I found THIS site where some dude shows how to wire one up to accomplish a few different things. the pics are handy.

92F.... come on AC guy, call me back...

EDIT:
One thing about misting indoors though, you gotta use RO or else you get water stains everywhere.
I say that, but in the grow room I mist with the same 100ppm RO/TAP mix I water with and its OK in there where I really only have light hoods. Some mist makes it to the plants, which I figure is just another bit of a feeding for them. they seem to like it. bongsmilie

Not with a 720cfm 8" blower on high. Temps are only 3F warmer than what i set homes AC at (84F) 6" from glass, and that's with no dedicated grow room AC. But my hoods and ventilation system can handle 4K watt, plus soon as i seal the room for co2, and not run neg vac, temps are going to climb. Built this room with room to grow. i figure i can make it one more summer without one.

edit
Haven't done the math, but if your running neg vac and the AC, you are blowing the air you paid to cool out of your house. you cant get much more inefficient than that. $1000 pays for itself pretty fast. it pretty much falls off trees too
