Hello people,I here a lot about Big Bud I have used it to breed a lot of my strains. It is A weight producer ,but it is unstable as a true breeding hybrid(some come out huge some don't). Big Bud is classic Skunk #1 x Indica. Sk#1 is famous for large production. It is the first homogenized (man made strain)to become famous. Then Northern lights and Haze's. Most strains today have Sk#1 in them.By far most strains today have not been homogenized. This takes alot of room to breed which is (mostly found in Amsterdam). I'm stoned on some Timewarp x BigBud and am procrastinating manicuring so I will run it down to those curious. To make a true breeding homogenized strain. First ya take we will say a Indica and a sativa.Cross them, then grow the seed ,chose a male and a female cross them(then)those seeds will (if you grow enough plants)any combination of each plants charicteristicts (the best of both). Then take clones, treat with gibberellic acid spray just prior to bud formation. Most times this will force thatfemale to produce pollen(this pollen is NOT genetically hemaphodite, will not produce herms). This pollen (used on the mother stock plant) will produce 95% identical to the mother seeds. There is always 5% deveation. out of those 5% there is a 1% chance of a male (1 in a thousand) So after growing 1,000 plants from feminized seeds 1% chance of a male, this male is the prize.Pollenate mom you invented a strain. My method is to grow 1,000 fem plants and flower them out super early saves on space.Or you can start using feminize seeds for your indoor instead of clones. One of these days hopefully a male will pop up. Also that pollen from that female on other plants than the mom will work like regular pollen
