Thought I'd post this for those folks with a high tolerance.
I use herb to medicate, I have a number of disorders I brought back from war and some physical injuries. I've pretty much jacked my liver up with booze and meds so I started burning.
Unlike most folks, I've developed a severely high tolerance. I can smoke concentrate (wax amber glass) without feeling a high. I also grow, so now I have a ton of this on hand. Not bragging here, but for my recipe you need to sacrifice a couple grams of wax.
The only thing that works for me is this tincture, since smoking a shitload of wax really messes with my lungs, and I can burn herb all day with little to no effect.
So basically figure out how to make your wax, bho, qwiso, whatever works for you. 2nd part of this is making the green dragon.
To make GD folks used to boil the plant matter in a high proof alcohol in an attempt to extract the THC from stems, leaves, trimmings, or popcorn buds; assuming you don't want to waste your herb. Alcohol was heated to a 173 degrees just below boiling point and then ground up plant material was dumped in it for 20 minutes. Later it would get strained and filtered. Some folks were actually not even heating it and just leaving the plant matter in there for months.
There are a couple things very wrong with this method. First off, the fore-mentioned also extracts a lot plant juices which don't really taste that great.
Secondly, and more important, is that THCA has not been converted to the psychoactive THC. This can be done by heating the plant material. It will decarb. it also. This is a very important step, older recipes were not very potent due to this reason.
Well I decided to skip all of that. For my recipe you will need 2 grams of concentrate and a 200ml bottle of high proof alcohol, I use 151 Bacardi rum. Don't use rubbing or Iso, it's denatured. Grain alcohol is fine.
You can do smaller or larger batches, I am giving you my measure so you can go off of that. 2 grams in 200ml.
It would help knowing how your concentrate was made. If you don't, go ahead and hit it with some heat. 5 minutes in an oven at 325F should do. 5 minutes will not degrade your THC too much. Besides think of your delivery method when being smoked. It's also heated. This will ensure we have THC and not THCA, same goes for CBDs.
Some folks who make concentrates use cold extraction such as butane or ice. Nothing wrong with it given you will be smoking it, you decarb when it hits the hot plate or flame, if you will ingest, then you need to do the step above and hit it with some heat.
From here on its as simple as warming your bacardi, no crazy temps necessary. Don't let it boil because you will lose too much to evaporation. So definitely under 175F. No thermometer necessary, if it boils its too hot.
Put the wax in a spoon, and run it through the bacardi until it is dissolved. Swirl it around or whatever works for you until completely dissolved. Shouldn't take more then 5 minutes under right temps, you definitely want the bacard HOT, not luke warm.
That's it. A milliliter of this stuff is enough for an average everyday smoker. It's definitely one of the strongest edibles you will try. You can also use the liquid to make your edibles with rather then butter. Ever hear of cooking with rum? or just put a drop on your favorite cookie. Alcohol evaporates leaving only the thc. You don't even have to bake your edibles anymore.
If you run too much concentrate the formula will crash and the wax will settle in the bottom. No worries, for more potent formulas just shake it up before using. Also keep in mind alcohol is able to carry more thc then butter/fats.
This stuff is great to combat insomnia/hyper-vigilance, it will knock you out. I also wake up feeling more pliable, my joints work better. So its probably good for folks with arthritis and such. My anxiety is non-existent even the next day, however if you over do it with this stuff it will definitely cause it. Its got its uses, hopefully some of you find it as useful as I have. Or at least now you have something similar to absinthe. ha ha
