The Future of Smoking Devices

As a Colorado native, I've been seeing all sorts of crazy new smoking (and growing) technologies coming out recently. It seems like the creativity of stoners is boundless! I have a buddy who makes these amazing pipes that have a 3D printed shell and are basically indestructible. They're called Pyptek Prometheus, which I love cause I'm a serious mythology nerd. I put a pic of mine on this post.

Has anyone else seen or created any other insane new ways of smoking? What do you guys think the future of smoking is?

Call me old fashioned but I still like good old fashioned glass with some sort of water reservoir. Makes me feel like I am doing less harm having it go through some water...But I do love looking at all the new hidden jars and canisters for stashing the ganj :)

I just had one of my better plants finish, and to reward myself I got a new Bong. By far the most I have spent on a piece, but well worth it. It is glass. the down stem is in the shape of a woman's body (Imagine outline of tits and ass :)), the stem has a diffuser at the bottom. Then about an inch and a half off the bottom there is another diffuser (so the smoke gets diffused twice). It is the smoothest cleanest hit I have ever taken.

If they were going to make something new and innovative, I'd say something in a cross between a volcano and a bong. The problem with that is it seems redundant. I've never used a volcano vape but people use it and hardly ever cough. But that isn't new as a concept. If something were to allow us to smoke less carcinogens and still burn flower, I'd say we're just modifying the wheel here. The reality is we're covering a lot of smoking possibilities. We're not necessarily needing a new smoking paradigm. The vape world is here. Question is does the efficiency go up in the dab and flower world on a molecular level or do we make the machines we use bigger ?? Kind of a loaded question.

I've heard only good things about solar hits just off a glass pipe or w/e, and using a vape is a nice way to smoke concentrates. Glass blunts are interesting, but idk how much can be said for their practicality. Call me old fasioned, but joints and bongs are currently my preferred methods of smoking.

I doubt that the standards of today will change. People will still smoke in paper and bongs and pipes all day long. I think the "evolution"is not happening anymore per se. It's devising ways that we know already could work and use those. Like you said with the magnifying glass, we know that's the ultimate flame to get without a match and it's all natural. No additive nothing. Plus the more organic your weed is the better too. Improvement on using no chemicals and staying efficient should most likely happen in the future.
I like growing outside, no extra costs and encourages me to breathe in a plant that was meant to be in the ground surrounding us.

It makes sense that gradually people are seeing that we need to go green, drive electric, use solar power, cut back on polluting our atmosphere with unnatural chemicals... the future survival of our race on this planet may very well depend on it.

the future is people admitting smoking is bad and full of tar and that hash dabs smoked like cigs leads to cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome
