Hey Frenchy, does Stephanie still work at Boldtbags I wanna add some bags to my Frenchy set I already have. I have 190,160,73 & 45 so I want to get the 90 & 120 she said they would do it last time I talked to her but that was last year, so before I email her I want to make sure she still works there :)
Thanks Frenchy

Thanks guys, The prices on the website are not the same prices I have for the full mesh, I hope she remembers me so I can get the discounted prices she gave me last time I ordered.
I have some Micky Kush (3 phenos) and some Jesus og trim and small buds to run so I hope it doesn't take too long for them to make them seeing there not the regular full mesh or I'll be tempted to turn it in to oil lol

You have to remember that when you buy a bag you are buying a tool which is vital to quality and when you collect the first time in that bag you pay for it and some. Boldtbags mesh are made for labs, the ultimate best and FDA regulations safe.
Anyway Shawn you should not cut down the cannabinoids and terpenes profile of the material you are working with. Lately I don't even use the 73 and collect from 45 to 160 microns to have a little more CBD in my Hash the wholeness of the plant.

I know I'm not too worried about the price its not all that much more anyway, I just want to experience the separate micron also I want to have them around for when I do others most want it separated, myself I won't ever stop making Cannolis/ whole profile pressed Hashish I just want the options thats all :) I know you wont like this lol but I'm also going to order a bag for inside the machine it's just too much hassle when doing multiple runs with different strains unless you have more then 1 machine witch will be next on my list a second machine :)

hey frenchy. I just did a run of some ehh outdoor trim. Now the 73 came out dark brown. .the 120, 45 came out blonde. The 25 came out almost white. I got the same amount in the 73 and 45. Less in the 25.

usually the 25 is dark. The 45 is either blonde or chestnut brown and the 73 is really blonde almost white.

do you think that's just genetics. Or maybe they were chopped late. The trim is not from my grow. So it just seemed really weird. The trim was not worth running imo. I got decent quality out of it. Yield was pretty weak though.

That's is really strange, it cannot be late harvest or the 120 would be dark as well, the bigger the trichomes the ripper. It is not the genetics for sure, you got me here Hyroot.
I would need to know everything about the process to tell you more.

I would look at it under a scope, maybe it's some kind of contaminant thats 73 micron , or you mixed up your bags or miss labeled your hash. Also if the trim was from 2 or 3 different plants this could cause it

Frenchy, your hash-making skills combined with Aficionado genetics are a match made in heaven... the best I've ever had. That said, is there a difference with doing whole plant fresh frozen, and why is this technique sweeping the concentrate category at the Emerald Cup?I know you're not a fan of freezing trichomes, compared to drying and curing...Did you sample the winners? What is your opinion? Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Press on!

There is two peaks in the terpenes profiles of Cannabis resin, the first one at harvest time and the other after three months of cure. Most hash makers freeze plants to make the stalk of the trichomes brittle so that the head fall easily which is redundant since the resin head is like a fruit and falls at maturity or at the slightest touch of an insect.
Freezing help to conserve fresh/live terpenes profile but it does alter the leaf material which is made of 90% water, when water freeze the mass expand by 9%, that means that the leaf material literally explode from the inside out when freezing it fresh.
It is not a technique but live resin is amazing, the reason why I spend years in India sticking it on my hands.
I did not sample the winners this year.

Bonjour frenchie! Sa va bien?
Is there a way to tell when all the moisture has been removed for pressing?
I have a wood stove in my place, it tends to suck the moisture out of everything. Good old rainy

Fresh Frozen isn't very stable the texture changes within days unless kept in the fridge and even then after a while it still changes texture, its basically wet resin. Now Fresh Frozen is fine if you dry it all the way out Like Jibs (can't remember is company name hes river Rock Hash maker) no matter if he runs Fresh Frozen or dried and cured his end product is always Beach Sand consistency in other words Fully Dried. I've said this before many time before some people want to make true Medicine where others want to make whats popular, Most of the elite growers and some Hash makers never even enter a cup. I'll stop rambling now just though I'd give you another perspective :)

Pressed and rolled into a ball. 2.4g from 20g of dried sugar leaf and trimmings. JOTI hashberry, I wish you could taste this frenchy.
I use a drill with elastics around the trigger to control the speed to about .5 revolutions per second. So not to quick. About 10mins with the usual ice/water mix.
Then its poured into a 160micron bag and catch is a 25micron bag.
I will invest in a 45micron bag one day frenchy. I thought I was doing myself a favour by purchasing the 25micron for quantity, but I make oil with all my fan leaves and stems. So I want the 45micron for hash and toss the 25micron into the oil(is there a fair bit I'm collecting with the 25 instead of the 45?).
Merci beaucoup Frency
