The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

Should I start with a small amount or just go for as much as possible keep adding it into the palm of my hand until it's all there. Would it be a similar technique to making charas? (I've watched a few charas videos and that is kind of what I followed for my practice run).

I'll be doing this while smoking hash and watching movies so I may end up pressing for over an hour, lol. Is there a limit to how long I should press? I just keep going until it feels like I'm there?
You start with a small amount and stick to it until it's finished, 2 to 3 g will be plenty enough.
You will never last an hour my friend, you have to literally work a blister and that will start under 15 minutes if you apply the pressure and friction necessary.
Pressing sieved resin (dry or ice water) is very different to making Charas.
Sieved resin needs a lot of pressure and heat to fuse together. Charas is rub super gently from the flowers but is a mass of resin in your hand without real pressure applied, not individual resin heads.
Live resin is something else and is the most amazing experience you can have with Cannabis resin.
We did some with TC this past harvest and you will see the process in coming Hunters of the Dank episode

We made somewhere around 2g in 45 minutes.
TC took some sick macro of it. Yes the resin is red, Aficionado Cherry Limeade, Mean Gene girls, 3rd place at the last Emerald Cup.
Amazing plant. We will have some to burn at this coming Cup.

is there a video of your dry sifting? ive been watching this thread, I may have missed it though. :leaf:
I posted it on page 210 I think, Sub did the shooting but it is not really complete or feel like it to me. It was supposed to be a comparative session with DSW, a Bubbleman carding box + Moroccan and Afghani techniques and it was a one man show in the end not prepared.
I am supposed to do some next week on flowers with seeds to get the resin and the seeds, Afghani style. TC will most certainly shoot the session that will be work so easier to process when watching

*I do agree, too busy to harvest top and bottom separate, like I'd normally do* edit

hash stash. bottom nugs, from a scrog, hardly got any light. tops actually had too much amber for my liking. makes for a good day and night smoke

some recent bubble btw. ive learned a lot from this thread. much appreciated, Frenchy.:leaf:

When you experienced the change of texture and terpene profile this way it is easy to judge when you press with the bottle.
I have had a callus in the middle of my left hand since my twenties.

Did some more pressing last night but ended having issues with heat. I ended rolling it into a ball. Not sure If I did it correctly but I used a metal surface and a metal bowl to roll it until completely smooth. It is now sitting in a mason jar. I figure to leave it until next year as a birthday present to myself next November.

I know nothing about Nepalese Temple balls but here it is:
The powder is a mix of 45 and 73. The 45 is more white.
