We are planning to show more glass blowing videos, the sidecar are made by Earl from the TGA/Weed Nerd tribe; another amazing artist from Oregon.
Post away Dr, it is a little off track but if it's good why not!

I was making some hash pipes or vaporizers with a torch and cigar tubes but they kept exploding. I finally got some lab test tubes and they worked good.

Ultimately a lot of glass originates from Germany, You can get a case of tubes of various types for around $300 from various places allover. you used to have to order direct from Germany. I learned to blow glass 10 years ago from a blower by the name of Tyson who is or was part of the headeez crew.. gateson, brock, recko, sam, etc... It was a very tight nit circle. Like audio if you get bad mouthed by one person publically. You are done in the industry. At least that's how it was back then. I used to flip Sams pieces whole sale. His company was spectrum 69 and molton brothers. I got screwed by a so called friend who wanted my sales. So I was out before I could even try to flip my pieces. I was still learning and developing my style at the time. Then eventually sold all equipment for half of what I paid and went back to school. I wish I still had my kiln. So I could at least cook the carbon from my filters.

Look up Dale Chihuly. He is considered the best glass blower in the world. He did the ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio in Vegas. He has art pieces all over the world

anyone know of videos of hash pipes or oil pipes. my friend made me an oil pipe but the holes at the top let in quite a bit of air. i have to use a dobber and torch or wood burner. sometimes it would be nice to be able to use a lighter.

I took 2 dabs after 1 day cure. it was full melt and laid my ass out. I cant seem to get the crystal look like matt rize when unpressed. It presses very good anyway. Imo its better quality when pressed. The dispensaries charge 4-5 times more for the unpressed than the pressed. I wonder why that is.. It melts the same either way. solventless / unpressed is now going for $80- $100 a gram, pressed $20 - $30 a gram, and bho $40 a gram. The pressed beats all the others. Pressed hash always has a better flavor too imo.

Marketing is funny.. Just like beta being better than vhs but it was cheaper to make vhs. Tape better than cd and same thing. Mp3's are backwards technology- I'm an audio engineer, sorry for the rant..

The unpressed resin (it is not Hashish if it has not been pressed) is more expensive simply because dispensaries don't know better, the "Western fashion" is beach sand and that what they sale. If you want Matt Rize look and texture, freeze, micro-plane and keep at all time in a fridge.

I have recently tried both pressed and unpressed bubble as well as pressed and unpressed dry sift (used my bubble bags to dry sift.. kinda cool). I have to say pressed is best for both. Even when I make qwiso shatter, it scrapes into a powder and I press it with my hands into one ball the same way I do the bubble and dry sift. So far, everything pressed has a fuller taste and smell and burns incredibly well compared to kief or "beach sand". I avoid unpressed hash at all costs. Even the kief from my grinder gets pressed in my palm for 20 mins before I smoke it. Thanks to Frenchy my hash game is excellent!

If you think how much hard work it is to press, you may wonder why our ancestors started pressing in the first place and you most certainly should question why they kept doing it and brought it to an art form.. We are talking about thousand of years of pressing here.
If our ancestors had been stupid we would not have survived or we would still be leaving in caves.

Looks great man! My guess on why pressed is cheaper is because most people do not know what quality actually is. Before I found this thread I only knew one way to press and it was not the correct way which lead to a lesser product. <--- Maybe this product is what they think all pressed is?

Matt scared everybody by saying pressed was full of skin and dirt. That is why people think sand is better. Frenchy does all of the same steps collecting and drying his resin as Matt (except for the 40 degree low RH drying room) and then he uses sanitary methods to press the resin. It becomes dark and everybody thinks dark means dirty. Let them keep being stupid. More good stuff for us!

My pressed Mulanje is the best medicine I have ever had! All my patients love it :)

Matt is an amazing scientist who taught me how to extract resin from my plants using a safe clean method.
Frenchy taught me how to add the Ooh La La love!

Cheers,
Mo
