Hey Captain, how far apart are your 2 scrog screens?, in the picture above I installed 2 tee's one on the left and one on the right, for uprights to attach a second screen like yours, I thought the expandability may come into play if the plants stretch allot
Not sure, been watching others do two plant scrogs in soil, I wonder how they do Thiers, I used to grow in hydro years ago, this soil stuff is the real new part for me
If you were 100% organic you wouldn't need to flush! But the easiest way to flush plants in a scrog is to have a removable drain tray beneath them. You can raise them up with bread shipping trays (think flatter, rectangular milk crates for bread loaves) and place trays your drain pan/tray/etc underneath it. I can snag a picture for a good visual idea if you'd want.
I think I saw something like this on another grow, I am kinda stuck now on this grow, but there will be many more grows, I do like the idea of the tray, if I stay with soil on future grow, I have already constructed some hydro parts but these teenager plants I got were already 18 inches tall in soil, so my direction was sorrta chosen for me, I need to remount my fan and I am going to lose maybe 3 inches in the top, but I may very well have space for a 6 inch deep 30 inch wide plastic storage container under neath them, also if I start from seed or really small clone next time I can bring the scrog screen down lower and maybe have close to the same height, thanks for helping, i am still learning and have much to learn about growing in soil
i guess so far i am organic, as its just the fox farms ocean forrest soil and no nutes yet, or I may not know what the heck I am talking about,, lol, wouldnt be the first time,, hahaha, really as this thing moves on I will need advice, my last grow I got serious nute lock out but it was close to the end, all the leaves died and turned yellow, but the bud is good smoke,, I also hope I dont get insects , last time I got some aphids one one plant on the lower buds, so far no sign of them,
Yes double scrog, just stab in two uprights and the top screen is the same size and shape, the idea is to put it in place as stretch ends to help hold up the weight of the colas I'll stick it in there if needed, I have enough twine pipe and screws to build it, take a look at captain Morgans led grows in the led section, he also posted on this thread, his double scrog is a really good example of doing it right, his also has the five cree cobs in a space similar to your sLooking good Tim! I was wondering why you had two of the PVC T-joints facing up, now I know its for a double scrog. I have that on my outdoor, but had not thought about it for an indoor, interesting idea.
