Alien was a member on Canna Collective and THC Farmer named nvthis.
nvthis was a talented grower and photographer. He posted threads on Canna Collective and THC Farmer a few years ago of his grow of Cali Connection's Alien Tech cross. At the time, he didn't know anybody and sought out Swerve for more info about the genetics.
Sometime in the middle of his grow, his pics caught the eye of Obsoul33t and the two of them, along with Logic and mrdjk5, decided to make some quick cash and came up with a marketing scheme (scam).
nvthis got ghost on all the forums and disappeared for a little while to chuck some pollen from his Cali Connect Alien gear at every plant he could get his hands on. He returned as Alien, after having some of his buddies post pics of plants all over the web and hype his gear like nothing that had ever been hyped before.
Misinformation was spread everywhere and Obsoul33t was cut in on the profits, so he lent his name to the project and helped "Alien" hype his shit.
Auctions were held on THCFarmer and gear was sold on Canna Collective. Some of the gear went for up to $5K per pack. All the beans were untested pollen chucks made with Cali Connection gear.
The shady assholes all made a shitload of money and Alien disappeared into the sunset, laughing all the way home.
Old heads will know what I'm talking about. Members at the sites mentioned can easily look up the threads and put 2 and 2 together to fill in the missing pieces that I don't have the time or energy to detail here.
