WTF! Where can you get it for 140 an oz? LOL thank 502 for the price hike! If the state plans on selling weed to the public at $300 + an oz why would the MMJ people "take Donations" at $220 an oz?

Would you sell something you own for $200 if you knew it could sell easy as fuck for $300?

All of you that voted yes on 502 can now enjoy your price hike on your weed! ;) That's the price of it being "legal" MMJ dispensaries don't give a fuck about you!

I was on weed maps and found the dispensaries are around $200 an oz. some place in Tac. had oz's for 140. The street price is 180 an oz. I have not seen or smoked any of this stuff. match

match short for match box. I guess I don't need to do that. You would already know who's posting.

I'm not paying as I grow my own. Weedmaps shows the price at co-op's. This morning they are running from 100 to 300 an oz. and 6 to 15 a gr.

You can find some $5gm weed in a couple of dispensary's. Seems to be a mix of stuff that has been on the shelf too long or shake from the jars.

Screw dispensaries they don't operate on a feasible structure for the concept of being all about the medicine and not making a buck while they are at it. When you have overhead of brick and mortar (a building) and the utilities and such that goes with, plus paid employee's versus volunteer and add in the factor top shelf ain't ever cheap because someone put a lot of care into it's upbringing and you have a system that can only be maintained if the prices are kept at a "competitive" level aka close to street rate but not quite as cheap. Oh and add the expense of laboratory testing... people all about good meds need to network and form small co-op's the larger the venue the hard it is to avoid corruption. Oh and on top of that in states like california the man want's his cut and taxes MEDICAL cannabis as a commodity. And just you wait till they have a provision of that here, I predict by 2016 there will be dispensary regulation with harsh taxes because at that point any cannabis not being grown under I-502 is not a taxable commodity under the 25% COMPOUND sales tax. For those of you who don't know it's 25% of the total through a 3 point process market therefore the product is taxed three times each in a higher total volume.

Final thoughts: boycott dispensaries, go to a MMJ convention and network with there are a lot of honest people out there who are in it for the right reasons... shouldn't be too hard to find a compassionate grower somewhere between Kent and Bellingham that has an opening in a collective garden. If ya don't mind the occasional drive.

Yeah I voted for it. And now I can smoke it in my house in open view, I can take an ounce over to a friends house and don't have to worry about being pulled over by a cop.

Hey brotha I wasn't bashing you guys! It does sound like that though, I was just pointing out that the "Price" of that "freedom" if you can even call it that, is the price of oz's going up. After the state tax and when these morons figure out how much it realy cost to grow weed I have a feeling oz's are going to top out around $340-$400. Right now if I needed to "donate" for an oz I could put one together for $220 easy upper mid's to top shelf! I have a feeling that around December when the shops start popping up the donation price may start to creep up around the $280-$300 range!

What is going to happen is MMJ people are now gonna start getting hit up to go get friends oz's cus it's legal now, and why would they tell the cops wehre they got it???? They arn't breaking the law! So it is called supply and demand! Now the MMJ dispensaries can't keep weed on the shelf! SOOOO what does any buisness person do? Raise the price untill people stop paying then you back it off 10-20 bucks! Why pay the state 340 when your MMJ buddy can get it for ya for 280? JMHO homie!

but you have no place to buy any & you cant grow any legally.... just stupid...home grows should have been allowed

The only reason home grows were not allowed is the taxes that would have been lost .

I know it is stupid and just red tape but get a MMJ card! It is easy as hell if you have anything wrong with you. Co. gets to grow 6 plants, I pay 200 for a MMJ card each year and I get to grow 15-30! I'm a provider, so ill just follow the rules and grow my own meds! I don't care what the state does! Now I just don't have to carry my MMJ paperwork if I have less than a zip on me! ;) Not to crazy bout the DUID law but I don't plan on driving around stoned or breaking the law!

I agree that people should be able to grow their own! I know a few MMJ people that would love for me to grow for them because they either don't know how or just straight up are to busy, Kids, the risk of home invations, on and on. It would flood the market with shit weed but that aint my problem!

I agree that it's stupid but it had ZERO to do with taxes. The people backing the measure figured they had a better chance of getting it passed if they could show it would be "regulated". I figure that within 10 years, and possibly as little as 4, home grows will be legal.

I have been getting $200 for my top shelf meds and now with the state in I hope the price gets back to 300 or 350 as i have not needed to buy any in years. I have been out of the state for three months has the new law changed much?

ironmangler The state has not set up stores yet but the courts have droped all the cases in King county for marijuana. They are looking for people to work for the state greading weed or something but they want ya to have a law and a horticulture degree.

I'm wondering how this will affect the paraphernalia laws. Might be a good time to open up a upscale head-shop.

Unless you smoke little to none you now should worry more about being pulled over actually. The whole .5ng thing basically means if you're a daily smoker like most of us that more than likely you're over the legal limit regardless so keep that in mind.

Here is a thread in regards to someone local dealing with this shitty law: http://www.nwgt.org/showthread.php?12951-Buddy-just-got-arrested

Also here is a video showing you can test positive without smoking that day depending on how much you smoke daily: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBC_8zSYjOs&list=FLXLBbyqpor53LPJiAxpLd8g&index=65

Insurance companies and Dui attorney's put forth alot of money to get this shady law passed. Just do the research. It's all out there.

yea that DUI shit worries me I would consider my self a heavy user, so if I vape over 2 grams a day would it take 30 days to pass their test or what? I am out of state and this is the first time in years that I dont wake n bake and I have pounds of cronic just waiting for me back home.

Before I left I heard on the news about some guy stepping out in the dark and was at fault got hit n killed his fault but the guy driving tested pos for pot and was arrested for vehicular homicide
