yes actually, d nail is just a nice t-shirt press the other one is pneumatic and d nail even said they are making a pneumatic one that will cost the same. the industry moves to fast to wait around.

and if you look at the dnails they have a foam pad that is also on the tsirt presses that everyone removes, and the 15x15 looks identical to a t-shirt press

Pneumatic is the way to go those t-shirt presses don't have the force that the pneumatic does.

I think the d nail ones are rigged up to push with alot more pressure and they use a more ridged construction so they get and even press, that is one problem with T-shirt presses, and the d nail heats from both sides.
but.... pneumatic has the press so that you can do it at low low temps.... isn't frenchy always saying press to activate?
Also I am really looking into a MIPs with another person and this doesn't require you to jump through all the loop holes as a solvent based extraction process.

I guess im curious if there is a benefit of pneumatic vs tshirt style? Like does that pressure give bigger yields or something?

Seems to me the only way to make it worthwhile is to us kief/sift/bubble then press that, and at that point does pneumatic make a diff? I guess i kinda presume that pneumatic is more for buds?

pneumatic can provide a press that can not be achieved any other way which means you can use less heat with more pressure and preserve the terps

@Twitch.
have you heard of @strait_concentrates?
they are cold pressing there flowers with a specially engineered extractor using over 40,000 lbs of pressure I found these guys from following @thebakereeseattle who happens to sell their product

I was about to pull the plug on the rosin technologies pre order untill I saw that

That press is awesome but in my opinion way over priced. But like everything we have to start somewhere. Obviously we all know these are the first models of mass production machines, so they will only get better. I also think the work surface is way too small. Unless I am missing something. Glad to see you going in this direction Twitch. I fucking love me some flower rosin. Have you seen Tony from Hash Churchs press yet. They are pressing like 200 gram every 15 minutes. Of course they are turning all their material into bubble and then rosin that. They also found bringing the pressure on slowly is best otherwise they were blowing out screens.

thank you.
everyone keeps thinking it is over priced, d nail has said that it's price range for their pneumatic one would be 3 to 4k when they make it. I had been talking with a guy that has his own machine shop and he has made various things for the MMJ industry and we where looking at using a press that was meant to put labels on bags and it has 2 heated sides and you can control temp and the press. the thing is I would need to replace the heating plates and replace the temp controller with a more accurate one, and something else on the inside because it wouldn't do the amount of press I wanted. it would have been 1800 not including labor and he doesn't smoke so no bartering lol. Also being that there are only 25 released and only 4 including mine in the whole state of CO and it is OSHA certified.

I'll pay the little bit extra because it is worth it to have it now and to get a jump on this industry here, because it moves so fast you don't have time to wait even 3 months
