The Church, Mazari Super Space Hydro Grow

Looking great. And for those wondering, RayFox keeps his plants compact (not small) by keeping lights as low as possible reducing long lanky plants.
That's absolutely right Rayishungry! Building up density is key to dense bud growth when growing in such an enclosed space. But Indicas make it possible to do this. Ironically, your post reminded me to raise the lights a little since this is the phase in the flowering when the central colas have to grow and differentiate themselves from the other tops. :bigjoint: Also! I just lollipopped the girls, which I HIGHLY recommend every DWC grower do if you don't already

Glad I could help. I lollipop too. For those that dont know, its where you cut the bottom shoots that dont get much light (where "pop corn" size buds would grow if not cut). This allows the plant to put its focus on the main (top) colas. So cut the little stuff to make the main ones bigger....don't be afraid.

Flowering for 10 Days  hello nutrient boost:leaf::leaf::leaf:IMAG1425.jpgIMAG1432.jpgIMAG1430.jpgIMAG1426-1.jpg Pa Pow]

When flowering, you can keep a nice tight canopy with a little bonsai action manicuring, it takes paying attention to, which is a pain, but even though growing has its pains, plants are therapeutic for people anyways, and I think small grows like this should be looked at as a kind of meditative activity. (say all that in a Martha Stewart voice! Hahaha now seriously considering doing an internationally syndicated television growing show, Rayishungry can be the assistant!)

In the words of Roseman "We're all on this POTGROWING Space Ship together and we ALL need to help and watch out for each other."

I love it when plants grow a lot in a few days. Looking really well. Can't wait to see those buds start poppin up all over the place.

Tops All Over! :joint: The Mazari at the back right is starting to pistillate nicely with tops all over, while the Mazari in front is still growing its first few, and The Church last at far left it still firming up its budding spots. :bigjoint: About where I expect to be at this point. Enjoy the Pics :peace:

See that's where I had mine...but everyone was saying 5.0-6.0 and others said 5.2-5.8 is optimal. I just switched to 5.0-6.0, I only switched because my previous grows I always ended up looking bad in the 3rd to 4th week of flower.

If we're talking hydro my say is 5.5-6.5 is optimal :joint:, also rootage and nutes add a kind of acidity over time if you don't flush very often :???:. What exactly was wrong with your flowering? :leaf:

Damn.. I want me some church for sure.. Good Luck brother.
Thank you Mr. Cheese! For real, I am waiting for that girl to finish just so I can say "It's time for Church!" :bigjoint:

I use a range because I don't have a ph pen, I use the drops. And BigBuddah, The Church has Skunk genetics like Cheese so you would dig it.

Oh and I think I kept having a magnesium deficiency. It could have been due to lock out because the ph was too high.

Void man lovin those charts! :joint: It's down in the science where the real magic lies

Oh man, well follow this link and find the exact deficiency ;-) Hope it helps

The worst thing isn't magnesium deficiency, since if you're using nutes its just a matter of figuring out the balance :peace:. Its ph fluctuation that gets you. Too much of that and your girls will be all like :finger: and lock you out. Stresses your plants :-( But if it gets too bad just go the ol' Roseman route: flush with ph safe water and slowly retrain them to handle nutrients and all will be well :blsmoke:

The 2nd to last is the most developed Mazari cola and the last shot is of the newly pistillating Church!

Also a little McGyver action for the layman's hydro like myself when I didn't have any baskets left . Plastic cups serve as an easy fix :-o

All the tops are now distinct flowers :weed:. I always forget about this part when I'm growing. Here's where the fun really starts .
