Yep I've gotten all 3 buddy :)

Grapefruit is the shorter of the 3 and then it goes the mango one and then pineapple stretches the most but it's an amazing pheno. Keep looking for it, you'll be glad you did ;)

Have you checked out the mainlining thread. Beer cans on antlers in a small footprint!

First seven pages describe the method. Last page has some nice examples of modular setups:

This is a Sativa cross I grew (Mulanje Bubblegum pheno x Mozambique Poison):

Used light deprivation outside to start flower early and harvested on October 28th! Smelled like Pineapple and Pepper in the jar!

Cheers,
Mo

Word... that reaffirms because I'm not on the grapefruit most likely, because i specifically remember thinking the pheno I kept was a little stretchier than the ones I got in my first round, which were prolly the grapefruities.

Yeah mo, did try mainlining already. I wanted it to be the "new game" but it didn't work as well for me. It was like four crops ago. It was actually the one I started on the C99 with. Overall... the results were not as impressive as I'd hoped... maybe I didn't do a great job growing them, not sure. But I did not get beer cans. I did get some decent buds but they didn't dense up quite like that. And I felt like I wasted a lot of extra time in veg to ensure the structure. I actually decided to go back to simple LST'd with really short veg times because I was seeing Sincerely420's results and they were comparable to my mainlines without the wasted time in veg. I will see if I can find the records from back then but I don't think I have em. Maybe pics... I'll hav to dig through

It also may have been the sheer limitations of the penetrating power of T5's that were biting me in the ass, now that I think about it. Mainline might go better under the LED... but really I think I need some HID to really see it work well. (As I recall, the top of the buds developed nicely but the lower parts did not fill in enough to get big dense beer canners.)

While I love the idea of only having big buds, I didn't enjoy the amount of veg commitment needed to establish. I also lost a ton of leaves on the C99 as I recall, so there were a lot of factors. I probably was not feeding N heavy enough because I didn't expect to have to veg quite as long as it took to get the mainline structure organized.

I'd say that my current style is influenced by my mainlining experience combined with my observations of Sincerely420's 12/12 from clone LST jobbers... he was getting really nice big colas off very small plants with ridiculously short veg, so I been following suit more recently and allowing that to influence my designs. However, I am about to start doing longer veg's again.. we'll see how these straight-ups go for now... might very well revisit mainlining when I'm under HPS though.

C99 has such a distinct flavor... yet it's so hard to describe because it seems to dance way at the edges of the periphery... it's strong in flavors that hint at cinammon and spice, way out in the back part of the throat and the taste buds on the sides of the back of the tongue... there is a central fruitiness as well but it's this dynamic at the back of the taste buds that blows my mind.

Pulled a couple tiny buds off the bottoms of a C99 branch.. not quite dry but itching to try... threw it through the sublimator... took a little more heat than usual but got the job done. Tastes veddy nice! Got me pretty high! heh. I am getting a relief from tension and anxiety that's really helping my body relax nicely and giving me a nice warm glow. I wish it was all dry... I don't want to keep scavenging, I'll wait... a while longer anyway... heh. ;)

Dry total was 76 g's from the c99's collectively. With an average of 18g's per plant, that doesn't really impress me, haha. At least quality is there. Can't wait to step up my game tho...

A few pics guys... I was looking at trichs on the NLxNL and Diesel and decided to take them down. It was inconvenient to get good shots of the buds before I took them down, but I snapped a couple from the backside that are okay.

C99 dried:

"Enhance."

"Enhance."

The slaughterhouse:

Foreboding, is it not?

NLxNL before take down, side bud:

NLxNL biggie at the end:

Diesel before takedown:

Casey Jones x Green Manalishi... smells fucking awesome... I can't even describe it. Juicy fruit but better? I don't know, it's awesome. I was so pre-occupied with the front one I forgot to get closeups of the one to the left that is farther along. You can see it in the first shot to the left.
