Frozenchosen had rules for a spectrum change last round. I wasn't sure if those were still around this time. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Sativas can take longer. Indice doms and 50/50 hybrids take 3 -5 weeks to show sex. It takes 3 -4 months from germ to chop for 12/12 fs. If anyone is using 730 leds at lights out to run longer days, 13/11 , 14/ 10. That makes everything take longer.

I was one of the last to make the first update. So others should be showing sex very soon if not already

If anyone cheats , running lights longer it will be obvious

Its my 1st time flowering from seed and when it took 18days for my hybrids to show? I thought that was a long time!

From seed the plant is too immature to be able to flower. Once it's mature enough it will begin to flower. Usually between day 25 and day 40 with most strains. The plant still veg's. Being that it's 12/12, it stretches more while vegging compared to normal 18/6 veg. When you do a regular 18/6 veg from seed, it still takes a plant at least 6 weeks to show sex while in veg. Sometimes longer. Males almost always show sex much sooner than females too in either light cycle.


The whole idea behind 12/12 from seed is for people who want a perpetual grow but only have one room or tent or closet to grow in.

I even do 12/12 from seed outdoors in the winter time. Just to see what I got.
