ok heres a better pic i found. maybe it will help only other plants in the room are some regular flowers and a cactus there pollen couldnt play a role in this could they.

ok, if that is a seed it's 100% there just green. so move it to a different room. Squezze it. If a seed comes out you are safe. Any thing but a seed then that plants turned hermie.

do you guys get a lot of hermies?

this may sound stupid but can they seed without pollen and if so exsplain why please. sorry for all the questions randy but u seem to be one of the most helpful people ive met so far thanks.

I never have had any, but I not that old a grower.

I havent had any hermies yet my last few grows since i got back into it...None during the 12/12 thing yet either..

2 grows ago i did find two seeds out of the 3 z's i got...dont know how as i never saw any male balls.

Everyone is going to get a hermie now and then at some point i figure

females will produce seeds even if they are not pollinated, its a genetic evolution due to sesemillian, or however you spell it (all female crops). Fully mature female flowers/buds will produce a single to two seeds to preserve the marijuana's life.

mcnea u say one or two seeds but i can count 7-8 so far and no male flowers are present. i must be missing something going to really take a close look at all nine girls tonight.

This is my first successful grow, how am i doing?

The last picture is after i snipped the bottom leaves that were yellow and looked like they were dying.

How am i doing? You can view my album to see bigger pictures of them, as well as other stuff, like my nutrients, which i dont know if i should use or not and the perlite i am using.

Wow.. thanks, didn't you say you get like 14 g's from 12/12 from seed also?... so you think i might get even more because of all that growth? Because i was fine with just 7 g's as long as it's good. And do you think i should use any nutes?

my harvest is starting so far dry weight for second smallest is 7.?g and had no big fan leaves for the last two week. this is 1 of 2 not so good ones.

a second same heigth but fat not skin, is 23.6 still in curing but close.

I stone on that little one now is good. oh so ggood.

i for got the question.

about 1 oz is a standard clam for a 12/12 from seed grow. condition may very. Stain also look at my pics (2) strains.

I think 28g but some are less and two are way less. Those 54"er who can guess, but all are 50%+

Had to scrap ny strawberry diesel. It was budding horribly and wasnt worth the room it was taking up... Wanted to get more light to my blue cheeses, shark and Ai...

I'm firmly believing that if your going to do the 12/12 from seed thing your better of not pinching the tops. It screws up your spacing if your trying to cram a bunch in a small area..

I started with a lot more 12/12's but I had a paranoid fit one night and wanted to reduce the total number of plants I had.

I think from now on I'm going to grow some straight 12/12, some vegged for a bit.. That way I can get different flavors and spread out harvests. It sucks wainting 90 days between harvests.


Waiting for plants to finish is slower than watching paint dry...


Also, I know your all going to see my home theatre system in the background. Don't get jealous, we all can't live in style like me. I'm a baller. That b!tch is 12" diagonal and fits nicely into the entertainment stand. Damn tv died and we're stuck watching that thing for the moment...lol

How tall can i expect my plants from 12/12 to get? I know since they are bagseeds and it depends on strain and all that it can't be exact, but i only have room for about a 3 foot tall plant at the most... i was hoping for just 1 1/2 ft to 2 1/2 feet but some of y'alls plants look way taller... if i keep them in the 10" tall pots they're in right now will they be able to completely grow and harvest in them? I don't know where i'm going to put them if they get too tall :/

I have 40" of height in my grow space. One light hangs lower than the other so that give me about 34"...So, basically i'm 40" on one side a 34 on the other...

The plants on the 40" side are a little taller than the 34" side. They grow right up to the light and stop basically.
A couple of the indicas i tossed(bagseed) were staying much shorter and were perfect plants for this grow. The diesels all went much taller... I'm still experimenting with this style. I can tell you that diesel plants are going to go taller.

I dont think i'll do more diesel on straight 12/12....

The best way to tell is to grow something...

I tossed several i shouldn't have that would probably have stayed shorter, but i really wanted the diesels..

I'm still learning, randy has been doing this style longer than me, but i believe he has his own seeds he has been using.

I cant wait to free up some room and throw a couple different strains in there to go straight to 12/12.. I'm going to find what works best for me this style..

check on drbudgreengenes i believe his name is on ic mag. He has this style growing dialed in and you can get a lot of info off him.

Mine do the same. To the glass and stop. I often wonder if I am raising the light to fast? could be it? star trek has a tracktor beam? maybe my lights a pot beam?

The thing is, i am stuck with only bag seed, i can't order any seeds so i never know the actual strain, and unless it's possible to take a clone from a plant on 12/12 (if it is, that's great news and i would love to be directed to a thread that describes this), that isn't possible for me either... i don't know... i'm a noob.
