from my experience... 12/12 from seedling is only profitable with SoG... like 30 plants under a 1000W 12/12 from seed will def. yeild some well taken care of midget ladies..Pe@ce..

ive been watching you all!! great stuff! do you notice any more hermies than normal? i see they can strectch a little, thats probably strain-dependant isnt it?
also what would happen if you started a plant from seed on 12/12 and then moved it outside after about 3-4 weeks?

Green house seeds:
On the indoor side, the best plants of the Green House Seed Company are Trainwreck, Lemon Skunk, Cheese, Great White Shark, White Rhino, El Nino and White Widow.
All these strains belong to the "white" family and share a common genetic origin. They are shorter, bushier plants with great bud production and amazing resin production. I was given some 100 seeds and have growen with them for 2 1/2 years I start in paper as roots get longer I place them in a airbubbler under 2 Zoomed Red coral cfl lights. fast to grow then into pots. This year is my 1st hydro Ebb grow 400 w have lot t learn still

It wouldnt make sense to start from seed straight to 12/12 then put outside. You'd start right out into flowering then it would revert to veg after being put outdoors. Unless its an auto flowering strain.
It would defeat the purpose to going straight 12/12
I started 12/12 with 25 plants... diesels, indicas and bagseed. The diesels stretched the most. The bag seeds were tight..short, good node space perfect for this type grow. Wish i hadnt trashed them.
I like it this way because you can get a decent variety going and you dont commit to all one strain.

I disagree.
Once you get plants established flowering indoors for about 4 weeks, you can put them outside early in the season and they will continue flowering and finish mid summer. This is a pretty common practice here in Canada because of the early frost we get. Also because no one is looking for dope growing in august, its alot easier to tend to your plants without the man/rippers breathing down your neck.

i also agree with spruce. you can save on your power bill plus weed out the males from the females if your using reg seeds. i will be putting those 5 free thai skunk seeds into the flower room , proceed to sex them , then place them outdoors

this is week 3 now,
this is my first grow so not to shore yet, how many times should i be waterin them?
i got them on 12 hours on and 12 off my mate said ill get better yeilds off them?????
the lamp is a 400w
is the light height ok?
should i have a lil fan on them?temperature with the lamp on is 25 when its not on it goes to about 17-18
i got a carbon filter and extractor fan should i have these on yet or not?

So i am okay growing in cups that are 8 inch tall and 3.5 inch wide? 5 side by side under 5 23watt 27k and 5 23 watt 65k (dual spectrum basically)? I didn't know the pots could be so small if i start from 12/12... and i could still get anywhere from 7 to 21 grams from each?

I just read a big thread last night on this. the concludtion was after 4 or 5 week go out side is fine fdd starded the thread in 2007 or may be 2006 i think then a few days ago post #2. I look later as I'm going to harvest one or two if it's 50% I wating on MrsRocket's second.
45 minite ago she said "I'll ge up in 10 minutes". They are not that big I could have been done.
maybe I'll find the thread about sun light after 12/12 for 4 weeks.

you will get less thc, studies in the UK and Amsterdam show that during flowering keep lights at 12/12, if you want maximum thc, the only time you go less then 12/12 is when there in the flush stage or near done......keep them on 24hrs darkness, but other then then 12/12 is what u want
