pic number 1 double strawberry diesel from rez two tops, 12/12

pic number 2 nycd X ak-47 freebie from seedboutique

pic number 3 dsd again 3 tops

all 12/12 from seed basically, 1 week veg to cut intial stretching.

Cant remember how long they have been in, they are at different times. I started with more and scrapped a bunch. Punching tops is alright, but when going for a lot of plants straight 12/12 it kind of screws up your room. Its easier to fit a bunch of plants with single colas than ones with multiple...

as for std grow with veg time then topping is great and boost yeild.

in 12/12 from seed it will just delay havest date with less yeild. I think and could be wrong as I have not tried it in flower. Some one eles would be better to answer on this question.

@ NoSaint i like that V shaped plant.

@ jordisgarden Nice, I see you in 2 of th pics. Cool, I want a mask.
I cant wait until they start filling out. I wish i had wrote down when I put each in. I'm totally lost as to how many weeks flowering they have been.

Pinching the tops works decent in straight 12/12, but like i said it kind of screws up your spacing.

i had to build another 6 by 6 room to add to the 3 by 3 because of spacing and tying down the ladies..i beleive, with all my heart and soul, that topping at 6 sets of leafs, then topping the branches of that plant when the branches has 3 sets of leafs. i really beleive it increses yeild expotentialy. it has made an insane difference with my plants...topp em, tie em down, ans smash em. it really works. heres some pics of side by side same age one topped and chopped one left alone.
1st pic chopped and tied, 2nd left just to grow regularly. theres no comparison.

the other pics are all topped. i grew one plant just regular and i got one ok bud off the top of the plant. the ones i chopped i got 10 buds the size of the one cola. if you top a plant you will never go back once you see the difference in harvest. now that i have 60 plants im just gonna leave some alone since im not trying to get as much as possible from every plant. just to see the difference in the end will say it all.
the plants i topped and tied and lst. they grow so much leaf material you cant see the stems. with the ones i left alone you can always see the stem

I want to say awesome thread. This has been a big inspiration for me to do a 12/12 grow myself for my first grow. I just finished building my grow box. Its a wooden 4' x 4' x 17" box. I've lined it completely with mylar, and I have purchased a dozen 2700K CFL's for the grow. I dont think I will be using all of them, but when CFL's are on sale it's always good to buy them. I will post some pictures in the very near future of my box, and my little darlings as they start doing their thing. I've put my box in my ridiculously large cold celler. I figured that since I am not really great at wiring, that room would be a great spot to combat the heat levels, and the fact its sealed off from the rest of my house is good for smells.

anyways, im stoked about documenting this grow for you guys. I have blueberry, hindu kush, and b58(??) all from nirvana seedbank. Here's hoping they work out nice.

till next time.....

So my plant ended up being a little boy. He is now planted amongst the bamboo in the back yard. Might use him for seed later.

so im considering flowering quite early, maybe not from seed. but anyways i got a question about growing in OASIS juice containers, 960 mL, to maximize space. they have this metallic-kinda coating inside, i duno if its plastic or what.
anyways, anyone if this could be harmful to plants?
