Awesome stuff! I'm another Guy who loves autoflowers :) I really like Fast Buds, DinaFem, and Dutch Passion autos, but my tent is all Mephisto atm. I started with some free seeds from comparative grows here on RUI and was hooked, ordered enough seeds to last a year or more lol

Ive heard nothing but great things from Mephisto but never tried them. Dinafem currently has my heart. Fast Buds let me down but I'll give them another shot. Feel free to post away inside this thread. Photos or Autos I love bud porn lol

Nice one mate. I was thinking doing an indoor/terrace build with Dinafem's Industrial Auto CBD. I was hoping that you could give me some advice on the smell and potential problems with growing in an indoor/apartment setting; do Dinafem's Autos have a strong smell while growing & how do you deal with it? Thanks for helping a newbie out!

None of the autos I've dealt with have had a strong smell therefore no carbon filter was needed. Some of them are very finicky when it comes to nutes and some love it lol. Much easier than growing photos but you won't yield nearly as much as you would with photos. If you're going to invest in a setup and you have the time and space I'd order some photos and autos. That way you can get you a harvest or 2 while your photos veg then you can put your photo into flower once your autos finish up.

I realize this is almost a year old thread, but I have some Blue Amnesia XXL Auto beans on the way and am looking for advice. They will be my second grow ever (the first a currently finishing photo pulled from a bag with no name). I have a 4x2 tent and running a Mars Hydro 300w LED and using Fox Farms trio

Just looking for basic Auto advice, or...?

For Autos it's best to feed on the light side until you determine that strains needs, and you should start in the final pot. Transplanting can be a stress on the plant and may set back growth, best to avoid. The trick then is not over/under watering in the early days as the plant builds it's root system. I like to give a cup or two (depending on pot size) every few days, poured in a ring midway between the seedling and the pot walls.

For training I use a lot of LST (low stress training) like bending the plant over horizontal after 3-4 nodes (sets of branches), making for many topsIMGP0348.JPG . You can see I split the main stem, but no worries, she'll be fine :)

I'm no expert, but if my Auto experience can help at all I'm happy to share, I've learned so much here I'll never be able to pay it all back ;)

Basic advice is great!!! But I was looking for strain specific advice, seeing as you have already grown Blue Amnesia. Anything I should watch out for? I've read an auto will spend it's entire life in an 18 on/6 off light cycle, but can vary an hour or two either way. Is that true for this strain?
