TH Seeds Original Bubblegum - disappointment

Recently I purchased a pack of 10 TH Seeds Original Bubblegum seeds. I have to say I am quite disappointed with these seeds. Upon receiving them I noticed they were a little light in colour, some even had a tinge of green. That didn't bother me too much as I know seed colours can vary wildly between strains.

What did worry me however was the difficulty I had trying to germinate them. Out of the 10, only 1 germinated and developed into a very weak, sickly seedling which has been stunted now for some weeks and looks highly unlikely to produce a viable plant.

At the same time and using the very same techniques and equipment, I germinated seeds from Serious Seeds, Delicious and World of Seeds which all achieved 100% germination and have developed quickly into strong seedlings.

I chose to buy a TH Seeds product for the first time on the back of their excellent reputation but in my experience their product has come up short. I really wanted to like this company as they appear to have some great products and good feedback, but my disappointment leaves me hesitant to purchase from them in the future.

I have emailed TH Seeds for a response, and will post back in this thread when I have heard their explanation.

I have seen the same shit out of TH Seeds. Low germination rates, sickly plants, and as of yet I have not grown a single TH Seeds that I would recommend to anyone.

I am growing th seeds bubblegum right now and couldn't be happier. The plants have thrived and grown to monsters. I've topped a couple times and there about two and a half weeks into 12/12. There growing beside some northern lights and a blue og and the bubblegums are the biggest bushiest of them all. Beautiful plants. And I've had 100% germination rate with th seeds. Hope it gets better for u

Go with BOG next time. He's had the bubble gum since the beginning.

green seeds means harvesting seeds early and def breeders fault.

gotta say my experience with TH Seeds has generally not been great. I have had only a couple of 'okay' plants from their stock. not surprised one bit.

Interesting to hear your experience has been the complete opposite of mine. I probably wouldn't have worried if the germination rate had been 75% or even 50%, but 10% is not good enough in my opinion.

Still waiting to hear back from the company.

I've had nothing but ppsitive exp with TH seeds. Ran 2 MK ultra freebies and 2 critical Hogs last year. Not the greatest thing I've ever smoked, but everything was real vigorous and MK Ultra packed quite the punch. Sounds like you got a few green beans though, not cool

Still haven't heard a response from the company.

Does anyone know if a representative from TH Seeds posts on this or other forums?

Ive tried 4-5 different TH seed strains now an all of them have either hermied or been a complete disappointment, they are now in my never ever ever ever buy category along with Barneys farm/Greenhouse/ cali conn and a few others, see if you can get a refund then fnd a better breeder to buy from

A refund would be nice, I believe I have a case for it - hard when the company won't reply though!

I've never had to contact a company. But I thought they would just tell you that it's illegal to germinate. And your problem.

I ordered some BOG seeds from seed boutique trying to find a good bubblegum pheno and not one seed popped. im guessing it was old stock or something, all 4 other strains 100% germination. I was super bummed because that was the one I was really wanting. it was my first time to use seed boutique not sure if they are that great. may just be old or something, everything I have heard about the breeder is good. may try again to find a good bubblegum. anyone had problems with germination or problems with seed boutique. is there anywhere else to get BOG seeds? I really want a good bubblegum.

Still no response, I will send them another email, perhaps my first one got lost in cyberspace...

Was it from a legit seed bank where you bought these seeds?
I've seen a lot of sketchy banks lately.

Yeah Herbies, haven't attempted to contact them on account of all their disclaimers when purchasing from their website though.

I have just received a reply from TH Seeds asking for more details. Will keep everyone informed.

Real crazy... Just had another bubblegum sprout a few days ago. Th seeds. Hoping this ones as great as the others. Wanna keep it in veg and attempt cloning. Still got one left. I'd toss it to ya if I could ..

Well it's been a couple of days and I still haven't heard back from TH Seeds after they sent the initial email asking for more details, which I then responded to.

Hoping they will get back to me soon and it will all get sorted out.
