TH Seeds 20th anniversary box.

So how do you guys feel about TH Seeds strains? I have no direct experience with them, but that 20th anniversary box is quite the goddamned deal. For those of you who aren't familiar with the package, for a mere $210 you get:

Dark Star fem 5

Mk-Ultra fem 5

Sage’n Sour fem 5

Ultra Sour fem 5

Burmese Kush fem 5

Skunkage reg 10


They also come in a very stylish box which sort of adds to the appeal .

With so many amazing strains out there, I seem to have developed an irrational desire to buy up as many different seeds as I can (is there a name for this condition?) and some of TH's strains come highly recommended. I think this box would satisfy my bean hoarding issue for awhile, but would any of you guys with personal experience with these strains say it is worth it?

Grew several Dark Star, while uniform very unimpressive.
MK Ultra was OK, but will never take up grow space in my box again.
Burmese Kush was just blah, had several sickly plants from that batch as well. Just flopping over crap.

Of all the breeders I have grown, TH SEEDS has had the worst germ rate for me by far. Half of the strains I have ordered never even made it above soil.

I love mk ultra. there are two phenos. one is average but the og leaning pheno is the bomb. frosty as hell and sour. yum yum. that is the only one I have experience with.

I really loved a MK Ultra plant I use to score off of a grower. It was potent as all hell, and had a strong aroma that filled the room with an amazing stench.

But based on growing critical hog, I really can't imagine ever buying their gear. Who'd release such a shitty cross? It is one thing if a strain just isn't your style or particularly amazing, it's another to release trash

Out of all those MKUltra is the only one I'd buy again,like Althor said they all have shitty germ rates and the darkstar 5 pack I had only one made it to harvest.BUKU is a potent strain but grew slow and was puny as hell.spend that 210 on some Bodhi gear or Archive,you will be glad u did when you harvest.

I wouldn't buy it, the seeds have been sitting for a while. The box has been on there I believe since before last christmas. Personally I don't trust that the seeds are all going to be good.

i have grown sage n sour, ultra sour and have mk ultra going now i though they where all good, the ultra sour was sum dank smelling shit it is my avitar, and mk ultra has a unique smell and looks like a good yielder

I may not find something that I particularly love, but I have yet to grow a single bad plant from Bodhi.

I know many people who have said the same thing, I may try bhodi but his lines are a little overwhelming. He has so many choices I don't know what to pick.

My thought process wasnt so much about the moms but the dads with my bodhi selections because I noticed he usually hits a mom with both of his main boys (snow lotus & appalaichan). Some I decided I wanted both styles of the cross. Basically just grouped it like this, I want to try the milks (mothers,cougar...) first then the mountain strains (heaven, wish...) and lastly but not least the stashs (solos, jabba...). Obviously he has more crosses than just that but it helped me prioritize so that I can stil spread some love to other breeders I wanna run in the near future.

And as far as th seeds strains, only popped original bubblegum fem so far (not listed in the oack I know) but she is the envy of some people in the party cup competition lol.
The sage and sour sounds dank but wouldnt buy this pack just cus thats in there.

You really can't go wrong, plenty of info on many of the strains in the thread here and over at the bay. I will miss the appy male, but you can't go wrong with Snow Lotus crosses either.

Thanks for all the input guys. After posting this I've read some bad things about TH seeds as well. Pretty much what some of you had posted, bad germination rates, and that's a VERY good point that the box has been sitting for a long time. I was really looking forward to the MK Ultra and the Ultra Sour, but thats not worth spending that kind of money on the whole pack if every other strain is sub par and the germ rates suck.

I almost ordered it last night, but decided to post this before doing so and now I am very glad that I did as you guys have convinced me that it may not be the great bargain I thought it to be. Thanks for saving me the money guys!
