Cheese Quake was the only TGA strain I didn't care for. It was OK. But not great. But Jacks Cleaner 2 was awesome. Great yielded of lemon funk. Dr who was nice also. Dank but not great yield. Marion berry is my favorite ATM. Trying 2 more Pheno's this time.

Id agree much with deadhead, strongest ive had. im not havin any luck poppin seeds from cali con for awhile now. So that really sucks big time. I still love my jillybean from flavor, yield, taste and high. Care of plant is easy as well, made a few seeds myself from it.
Vortex was very disappointing. Nice big buds, good density, potency lacking. I thought vortex was known for power. Guess my batch of 7 gals just couldn't make it in my garden. Not strong enough. I just noticed vortex is winning in the poll. Wtf? Damn, if u guys think vortex is strong come smoke some of my Tahoe, deadhead, or holy grail. Then u will have experienced power my friend.

VORTEX!!! All the way. Its the only strain I have to run when i'm out. No ceiling, prefect daytime smoke, motivated, uplifting, creative, no anxiety. love, love, love vortex. Its strong enough for day time, it may not be a one hitter quiter but its close enough to me. If you keep going its red eye city.

I've tried everything else with exception of jacks and querkle. I will agree that cheesequake was a bit disappointing, but indicas just don't do it for me, not from any vendor...but when it comes to quick flowering sativa leaning hybrids, sub has it. Space queen would be next, followed right behind by jillybean. Vortex will always have a place in my garden though, and I never plan on letting it go.

When was the last time that you bought a pack of Vortex? It used to be one of my favorites!
I just got some new beans a few months back for the current run. Most of the hype is gone, but the seeds are still premium $$ at $85 for a pack of 10. Sub dosn't do feminized anything, so I think that can be off putting for a lot of growers since it makes hunting mothers more difficult. Personally I like that, keeps the genes strong I think.

Theres really only 2 strains you come across, the more sqauty 3 footers and then the 4-5 footers. The 3 footers get the more baby food smell and the 4-5 footers are the lime/pepper smeller's. The 4-5 footers are the high yielder's IMO, the 3 footers less so but have a more fruity finish. Potency wise it can go either way, but usually its the taller ones (I guess more apollo leaning).

I think the people that have had complaints on smaller buds topped too many times or had the smaller variant. The sweet spot for this plant is 4 tops on the tall ones I think, any more and everything becomes mid bud sized. I usually top at the end of the first month, instead of early on. Its more like a double node top, once the main shoot starts stretching. There will usually be 2 nodes and two mid-tops at the same height right at that point, also I up-pot to 5 gallon coco at that point. Give them another 2-3 weeks and off to flower. I easily get 5-6oz per plant on average under 600w. 4 plants jard up will last 2 years easy.

They do have a tendency to fox tail, but I don't mind that. They can have loser structured buds, but you don't need much. Really sticky stuff, I think sub said it was his favorite plant to make hash oil with. Clean up is also a snap usually.

lol, sorry, I like my vortex!

I want to see if you have germination problems with Jesus? I had 1 out of a 10pk!
lol, yea. Very pine sol sort of smell.
I had a pack in 2012 and again in 2014. 2014 was bunk, I just wanted to know if they got it straightened back out... I still have people asking me about Vortex from 2012!!! If it is the same, I will try it out again???

I keep trying to ask people about TGA, but I tell them about my bad exp with them and I dont get responses. I have not heard much about TGA since 4/20/14, same time Jillybean won in Denver and they had the SpaceCandy promo! I still have 15 space candy.
