All my friends go downstate for dispensaries. It seems very hard to keep one open in the UP. I don't know of any DAs that like it and they seem to do anything they can to keep them shutdown. It's so much better to just go thru a reliable company like TGA Subcool and start from scratch then make clones. I refuse to take in anything from outdoors or other people. I think dispensaries charge way too much imo. But at the same time some caregivers are way too greedy. And it's damn well straight up greed. Maybe I'm too generous to my friends that I caregive for but if I can afford to give them free nugs once in a while then so can these other caregivers out there. Obviously you can't be cutting your own throat but greed has taken over a lot of caregivers.

I have a lot of LED pics pages back. The right ones do work great. I have a couple KINDs and to me it seems like the plants I grow under it have fuller buds. The lights were overpriced though. Lot of people will say they are crap but they never used them and are probably sour with the price. I've been using them for a while. They work but I probably could of got something just as good for way cheaper. The problem is the coverage is not very wide but I'm looking into trying the COB style ones which provide wide coverage. In the winter time the cold areas like where I am I love using HPS. Really helps lower your heating bill. I know people that heat their homes with their grows. I like using LEDs side by side with HPS best.

Amazing enough I have never had spider mites when growing in the U.P.. I do not bring in anything from outside or others as well. I think that is where everyone gets them is from clones from other growers or dispensaries.I only caregive for family or very close friends who I know and trust. I treat them very well.

Don't forget pm. Eagle 20 too is rampant here in the bud. I'm just very selective. I've had access to the best of the best for years so I'm used to a higher standard. My stuffs looked shitty lately from nute issues and ph ones but I'm still turning out solid stuff. I never have bug or mold problems though besides from new cuts lol

Yes PM is a huge problem and it seems to be every winter. I had it a bit last winter after being cheap with my heat and letting the temps get too low. I find that if I keep my rooms about 85-90 lights out, 80 lights off, I never get PM. Humidity is about 40-50% I've tried lowering it and it did nothing to help. Some strains of PM don't need much moisture to reproduce. At high temps they have a lot of trouble reproducing. I read this a while back but would have to find the source. The spores are in the air everywhere. I found most pesticides for it to not be much better than water. Especially that NPK PM wash. Them assholes made too much money off me. I like neem the best as far as a pesticide for mildew. This is from my experience with it anyway. I can't say for sure if these ways would help everyone else but they have worked for me.

While we are all shootin the shit, I have to ask at least the ones from MI, what are we gonna do about the swab tests? I don't smoke until night time/early morning. I'm always sober when I wake up and drive to work but smoke everyday before bed. Others and myself would be fucked from a swab test even though sober. MI state law says you cannot drive with a controlled substance in your system which is also fucked up. I've probably had it in my system longer than I've been driving besides several breaks here and there.

With organics and proper humidity and air flow and temps I've never had a problem. Even when I didn't have a 50k room and grew in tents I didn't. Just from new clones I've gotten it, and from some old tga stuff I ran I saw it once on it outdoors. But eagle 20 is some nasty shit. It will give me lung infections from smoking bud with it. I can tell right away. I went to vegan organics but it's so hard to keep them as happy as with guanos and some bone meal too. I use a special sugar that is made from a plant used to make a Mexican liquor as well which really busted out the terps. But I'm tired of mediocre runs so I'm going to bigger pots, and guanos and bone to really amp it up in my soil mix. As far as swab tests fuck them, see I've beat them before on urine tests because they are testing for a metabolite associated with thc not thc the illegal substance. So to prove your intoxicated they have to beyond a reasonable doubt so good luck with that one Jonny law lol. They don't even bother me anymore about being stoned, I was so high one day when they came to my door looking for my cousin I forget my pipe and lighter in my hands and didn't have pockets in my pjs and just said fuck it. I didn't enter the cup they won because I fig it wasn't fair. My stardawg 3 would have blasted their c99 and Chicago diesel which is just Erich's rude boi diesel they renamed. I could taste it right away. My worst stuff is as good as their best and I sell ounce for 200-250, they charge 400$ and ounce straight up. The weed was better than most here but subpar imo. Esp for the price.

I had these three lines but I just tested them instead of entering. I knew I could win it easily. But said nah, And passed out seeds. This run hit 30% thc, the flavor on my stardawg 3 cut is exotic as it gets. I'm vegan organics too so the weed isn't as pretty as my hydro or my guanos based mixes but sour patch seeds told me he could sell this for 4K a pound in los Angeles it was that good. It's just so heavy and yet functional but the smoke is one of the best elites out there if done right. Huge yields too. Easy trimming. The chocolate stardawg was even better. It was so rich and Chem d nasty too with the bulbs. All mediocre runs too by me. But they put out. And sour patch buys from the jungle boys and greenwood, and has obs and others who hook him up, so I was very pleased to hear that. Esp cuz I know I can do better still. I'm super critical fwiw, I mean no harm but I'm even more critical of my work.

I need up actually getting approached by a very wealthy man before I could even if I was after seeing it and hearing about it. And ended up making 3x what I would have instead if I'd won the cup. I found a lifetime loyal homie too. He is like Thornton melon from back to school he reminds me of, it was a very awesome thing too because he is now a great friend. Almost like a father figure even to me. And he is a wealthy connected guy who has the power to even better my life as he has because he's so respected and wealthy and connected and I'm under his umbrella now, and he's prob the most loyal friend I've met. So no money can put a price tag on loyalty like that. Sure the floods keys vacation offers are nice and the full resort access all for free but he's one of those friends who truly wants to see you succeed and loves me like a brother. I was so glad I was blessed to meet such a great friend. It feels good to feel appreciated too and know someone's always got your back.

If it's the same cup that I'm thinking yes the results were rigged. I know for a fact because the people that ran it told me. There is no way C99 should of won. I'm not knocking C99 but there was better stuff there. The people that ran the cup were all good. It's this group of trolls from downstate all voted for their friends bud C99. Any of us could have rigged it if we wanted. Easy as bringing a bigger group of friends. Plus the event was small so it didn't take much. I don't mean to take anything away from them and still say their stuff was decent. But when you win something if feels a lot more rewarding when you do it in a more honorable way. I think that is why they are not having one this year. Low attendance, rigged elections, and a far drive for everyone.

Small grow don't worry about it but otherwise unless one has good community ties, I would advise anyone who is growing in the UP to have a lawyer on stand by along with the $5k fee they may want. Plus bail money. Don't get court appointed search around. Never cross state lines. I've seen too many people go away for that. Plus then the feds pick it up. I've actually had feds see one of my smaller grows years ago. They were there for something not even relating to me. They did nothing about the grow except made sure it was legal.

I'm friends with mike and them so I knew it was amateur hour. I ended up making more money than the cup prize by far lol. I wouldn't have entered regusrdless, I told mike that too prior but he insisted I did but I ended up showing up at like 5pm anyways lol. I don't mind giving herb away to my patients/friends but not a bunch of strangers, esp when I've never had a shortage of customers lined up. Thanks bro.

Man I still cant get over that bottom left pic. Fucking nice! Pure purple and crystal showing off for sure. Cant really beat the looks. Bet it's tasty and powerful as well. I don't do any grow journals. Whenever I try I never finish them. I Just post pics once in a while of TGA gear and a few others using super soil and other organic methods.

Here is some Marrion Berry Kush. I did a lot of topping on this one. It seems to clone easy. Potency is up there. Has a raspberry smell. I'll probably keep it going for a while. I will keep updates on her.
