The one I saw was super slow in veg, but more than doubled size in flower. It smelled like mountain dew baha blast from taco bell but after it cured was more mellowed and more candyish. The buds were good size but not rock hard. Upbeat head high. Loved it.
My Space Candy turned out great other that a few late male parts. But it was prob my fault. Light leak etc. You are right on size. Mine was smallest in vegg and largest when finished. Not sure what Baja blast smells like... But it is straight fire and good producer. Mine has a sweet Diesel smell. I like it a lot. I will post pics of it later today or tomorrow. Not sure which is better yet. But didn't take any clones. Have a lot of MBK seeds and few more Space Candy's to run next time. The 2 do well next to each other as thew were around the same size when finished. One berry kushy and one sweet diesel. I may throw a CC strain in there. Alien OG turned out pretty damned good.

I will always be pheno hunting also. I want at least 2 solid keepers. Just got rid of my 2 year old Dr Who clone. Tired of it and it does not produce well.

Almost no smell while growing or curing.... Opening a jar smells like opening a bag of ocean forest so some earthy pine Kinda. Now stick it in a bag and go somewhere and it smells like You have a skunk in your pocket lol

I wonder where the original skunk smell came from? I know hops can be skunky. Is it an indica trait?

The old sativas from the 70s were all herbal and spicy. Some of the Thai smelled like chocolate.

Then the Humboldt and Fallbrook stuff was neon green and piney.

FInally along came the knock-you-out skunk buds. They looked like artichoke flowers. Similar to hops flowers.
