TGA Ace of Spades (Black Cherry Soda X JTR)

Black Cherry Soda X JTR male. Grew out a 5 pack of these and got 3 good females. One has golden calyxs and one has purple calyxs, both smell sweet. Both are good yielders, herm resistant and quick 8 week finishers. The purple one is very popular and gets requests which surprises me but I love it. Have run it a few times and will keep running it.

At 5 weeks another plant fell on this one and knocked it over. The main stem snapped almost completely off near the base! Luckily I discovered it before the lights came on so I stood it back up and tied it to the ceiling. I wrapped some duct tape around the break and it healed up very nicely. Normally the Ace stands up on its own and does not need support.

Could use a few more days but it would have finished quicker if it was on the LED side of the flip flop. 60 days so far under 600 HPS.

cool. how does it smoke? it sounds like a better cross than plush berry in theory as jack's cleaner 2 is one of my favorite strains.

you know, it's a good idea to stress your stems with gentle twisting and flexing to stimulate them to repair damage. i think that's the cause of a lot of plants snapping at the stem indoors as they don't have natural wind flexing to force re-enforcement. not only does that make the stems stronger, but the larger diameters = more ability for nuts to flow. i even like too twist fan leaves for that reason.

TGA's gear is almost universally respected across their entire line with only a rare hater here and there. details on the buzz would be appreciated. i might like to try it myself to see how it compares to JC2.

I've got a 5 pack of Ace, Agent Orange, Jack Skellington, and Micky Kush [ all JTR crosses] that I'm dying to pop. The problem is that my TGA tent has been occupied by Chernobyl and Ripped Bubba. I can hardly bear moving on from those, but 2 bloom tents is the limit, and the 2nd is dedicated to discovering why everyone raves about Bodhi and Soma. What's a man to do?

Beautiful plants. I have aos going rightnow. I was hoping you could tell me the difference in traits compared to jtr dominant and bcs dominant.

Damn, that looks IDENTICAL to my TGA Plushberry?! Wonder if one of us got a mix up in packaging, or if they are just that close of genetics!

I did three runs of ripped bubba mom last year that was even stickier than the chernobyl it ran with. Hit a 4 month bud of it last night and crashed immediate. Hated to retire her, and have made some awesome brownies out of some smaller buds.

How did you grow it? Organics?

aos was one of my best tga grows a well rounded strain in all categories taste,high & ease of growing made me like it pretty good i replaced it with spacedawg which i feel was a mistake on my part querkle is still one of my favorites im waiting to try 9 pound hammer

I want the 9lb hamma as well. Ace of spades smoked great. Good potency, flavor, bag appeal, good yeild, finished fast, only downside with my pheno was the tolerance. I found a keeper in 2 beans. I have 8 ill be running soon....

Same ladies under homemade LED. Amazing difference, more color, more flavor, much denser and finished a week faster.

Just in case you don't watch the Weed Nerd, Subcool announced that TGA will be discontinuing Ace of Spades, and Plushberry.
He says that their seed production takes multiple times longer than other lines and the finished product isn't as medicinal as other strains they could be making.
Sub mentioned they had a lot of both strains still in stock, but once they're gone, they're gone.

thats one reason i moved aos up, ill prob get another 5 pack. the smoke was great! cherry ludens with a tough of haze. i miss youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....
