Testing kits

All the ones I've seen/tried only test up to 20 %. I thought this was the same? Maybe I got brands mixed up... I would love a testing unit that would accurately test High percentages of concentrates.

Yeah, it measures to 20+% but, You are guessing after that since there isn't a gauge for over 20. the CBd tests would be beneficial to detemine the higher levels of CBD between strains in the grow room, but I wouldn't buy this for concentrates... @twitch I have a feeling you make concentrates over 20+ % so it would be kind of a waste of money

I doubt you could accurately test those levels without a GC or HPLC machine. plenty of places you could send it to though. That would be awesome if it did work.

Snaps ordered a couple we are going to try them out, the dispensary I work with can send off samples to labs so we can compare.

Ill post up pictures and results when ever we get them.
Again, I hate to burst your bubble, but this is not going to give you an exact percentage, all you are going to find out is that your concentrates are over 20% thc.

I don't think your bursting any bubbles, it is something we wanted to test instead of looking at it through my computer screen and speculating, the dispensary I work with wanted to have them tested because they are thinking of carrying them in the shop. Not to be confrontational but I didn't read any where on the site saying the kits top out at 20%, they claim on their site to be able to test concentrates.
we will see.

No worries. I just wanted to forewarn you. Not that I don't think the idea is cool, just not IDEAL with the THC and CBD percentages we hit these days. I'm almost certain every strain I run is over 20% so for me these are useless. However the CBD tests are great because the numbers seen these days are not as high, but the that also only reads up to 9% CBD, which if you find something over that is decent, but shit we are seeing way more than that in genetics now. Up to 20% now is what it should be looking like for CBD and 30 % for flowers. They should have a full sequential spectrum of you ask me.

Their site is very vague.... they even advertise they can test concentrates..... thanks for pointing this out
I think the main reason I remember was from The Adam Dunn Show and they came on and tested some hemp on air. They explained this on the show. Yes the website is vague :/

Those things are not very precise, they measure how much THC is in your bud by how big and dark a red spot on a piece of paper is, not very accurate.

From the CEO of CBscientific

Dear Guest,

Alex: ABSOLUTELY! We ran 38 samples for the Secret Cup in September. it took us only 30 minutes to prep and run all 38 samples and we determined the winners! I will try and send you a photo of the results. You only use .01 grams of concentrate to run a sample and we are pretty spot on for the potency +/- 3-5%. Please feel free to ask more questions and check out the site. We will be adding "how to" videos in a few days. Bill Short CEO CBscientific

the CEO says they have them for concentrates.

what you wana do is take a low thc.. high thc.. low cbd. and high cbd.. and if u wana get better results mid thc and mid cbd.. all tested at a lab.. then use those samples on these tests... and you can guage around what it should look like on the home test with help from the lab tests.. a standard will help it stay more accurate !!

we ordered a bunch of these.. but i cant find a place to test my nugs first so i have my own standard .. so they are going to sit until a lab opens here.
