Hey guys quick question. Are gallon grow bags ok to use in a tent? Is there in disadvantages compared to using regular pots?

I'd imagine that grow bags would lack drainage needed for watering\flushing plants.. assuming that grow bags are the same thing where you are.
I'm in (UK), and I use compost grow bags for some of my outdoor plants (not marijuana), they tend to hold water a little..

I use smartpot if thats what u mean by growbags. I have 3 x 5gallon smartpot in a 4x4 tent. I put them on little racks 1in above the ground and they drain just as well as normal pot imo.

1 gallon fabric pots will work but you'll be watering every day when they're in flower. As in every 12 hours. 3 gallon is the all around preferred size. Those can be water every 48 hours. 2 gallon fabric needs water every 36 hours in late flower. Weeks 7-12.

After going to fabric pots, I quit using solid side pots of any size.

Greetings, grow bags suck azz. They water funny, dry out fast and cost too much. Go get 5 gallon buckets or 2 gallon buckets, hell even trash cans etc. They are anti. :-)
