Tempeture/Humidity Questions

So I am trying to figure out the best temperature and humidity for hang drying to get the best results and same quality as the medicinal dispensary's

What's The Best Method?

Any Responses Are Greatly Appreciated,

This is a good question as a slow dry before a slow cure is preferred. I just took a quick walk through the pinned articles in this section and the authors didn't address it directly. I HAD read somewhere that an RH of 50% and temps <70 are good. So that is what "I" shoot 4. Is it optimum?? Idk. Air movement is also a factor of course. Hopefully others with more exp. will pipe in. @Dr. Who, might you have an opinion?

Just do what the articles outline until you have more experience. Don't get so hung up on minutiae.
Could it also be possible that there was not anything new to the OP in the articles and he already generally follows what they say?...making the "minutiae" the logical next step?
Did he say he was a new grower? New member, sure.

I'm a retired RN.Years of listening to people, especially at ER as triage. They tell you what is foremost on the mind. This is what they want addressed before hearing anything else.

Here is a better article.

Ok...so why did you not follow that credo here? ;). Seemed to me he asked for specific RH and temp suggestions. Maybe I read it wrong.
Because I have no idea what he is capable of controlling. So answer it yourself. The right RH and temp he needs to provide is what? Otherwise his whole grow will be shit and go to hell.People make way too much of somethings. I provide info, like I have said before, for all including those reading these posts later. Professionals like nurses are given basic information and use their experience to go from there. They count on our education and experience. Then we don't provide info to patients that we do to other nurses because they have no idea what you are talking about.I'll bet you have issues with that too, right?

Further, I post links for those wanting to LEARN and not just be given the quick and (lazy) and dirty answers.

For those wanting to LEARN: http://bigbudsmag.com/growing-marijuana-br-drying-curing-for-perfect-buds/

For those wanting the fast and easy (so you can be back in a day or so with even more questions):

"Temperature controlled between 72-76F

Relative humidity controlled to 46-55%

Absolutely no pet hairs, insects, mold/fungi, dirt, dust, cigarette smoke or other pollutants.

Exhaust venting and air exchange to remove and renew the entire volume of drying-room air at least once every hour.

No sunlight or other direct intense light"

There ya go. See! You can be informative as well as answering the actual question.

I seem to be having good luck shooting for 65-68 degrees and humidity around 60, 10-14 days hanging and cut into as few pieces as possible with sugar leaves left on. I removed large fan leaves before hanging. Then to glass. One thing that I've read in multiple places is to shoot for 65/65 for a nice slow dry, couple weeks hanging.

This is my first 'decent' harvest that I'm really trying to do right - and still learning myself, so keep that in mind!.. But have done a ton of reading and now onto trial and error - this has made for some smooth smoke for me, my man. Good luck to you dude!
