wax is hard to dab. shatter is also hard to break off the perfect chunk. I think I perfer wax, but I do understand what he mean when he says "When dabbing budder your dealing with crumbs. Little pieces of cakey cookie like pieces of shit. They dont attach to the dabber. They dont stay on the dabber. It makes it impossible to accurately dab a proper hit, and is just a pain in the ass."

but shatter is hard to break off a nice chunk... it kinda breaks however it wants and explodes tiny shards everywhere.

i dont know how accurate that last person post was to the TC community, i feel when it is in its wax state that it last longer then when in a sap or shatter state. I have actually noticed a difference in some sap that i had that became less potent as time went on. this is one of the main reasons i only winterize a few grams at a time is because i feel like it keeps longer when it is waxed up, and not all my winterized stuff will wax, sometimes it stays sap like.

What would a good vac purge be for a beginner to buy, i have made bho plenty of times but just with a glass extractor butane and Pyrex dishes.

Well fuck maybe I'll make some basic changes to how I do things, and let the material turn out how it turns out naturally. The oil is a pain to put into a container, but its very easy to get a dab. Then again maybe I'll get crazy and bust out my drill next time just for the fun of it .

I bought a set of dental picks with full intentions of getting out the drill on my next batch and whipping for 15 minutes then vac purging to try to recreate budderkings product like shown in the thread where TEXAS THC posted the high times pictures.

Ok so you can tell I'm a noob to dabs. What difference does the nail really make. I just got a basic glass nail with the rig I got. It seems to work pretty good to me, but the only other experiance I had was with the rigs at the denver cup.

glass is cool they just tend to break, quartz is really cool, titanium there are alot of different grades to titanium nails and i have bough some shitty nails

They all work and like so many things, is a matter of taste. Borosilicate glass will eventually crack, so quartz lasts longer. Both borosilicate and quartz nails add a hot glass taste to the dab, while a seasoned grade 2 commercially pure titanium nail becomes neutral.

Titanium nails also don't break, while I've broken even a quartz wand by dropping it.

Recently I saw a cute trick, by which someone took the down stem out of their pipe and heated the lower end red hot, before sticking it in some oil and sucking up the vapors through the down stem. Necessity can change our views overnight.............

I can tell you guys one thing, people on TC absolutely HATE budder lol, you won't find anyone supporting wax over shatter there and if you do, he/she is quickly ran off the forums.

titanium is the tenth most abundant metal in the world. I dont see why its so expensive. I think youre just paying for the name most of the time.

I got a nail from the bong store for 30$ which is a little expensive as far as im concerned (not like HEs 85$ nail) and my nail works awesome. tastes good and no complaints.

and if you look, that is a 14 nail sitting on an 18 washer on my pipe, the 18 nail i bought is fucked up i dont know how to explain it so i took my old 14 an set it on it so i could use it in my piece, and yes i have tryed a million different ways to season it

The ” dab” has now become mainstream, and the market has definitely recognized that with addition of lots of cool tools to keep the dab new and exciting.

If you live in Medical State, get all your accessories from your collective, club or dispensary.

I know for a fact, HS's double and triple wholesale prices on glass and dabbing accessories.

My dispensary only marks their glass up 5$ over cost, as they want their patients to be able to enjoy meds, without getting your wallet emptied..haha.

like I said, 80$ for sliver titanium, a very common metal... fuck that! its all the same, titanium is titanium. the other guys got pureness certificates too, these things are made for 1$ each.

My sentiments exactly, go with HE. I season the OUTside of the nail as well, try that.

So i couldn't find a thermos but I decided just to use a canning jar and poke 3 holes in the lid, it worked I got some nice oil from 7 grams of Kief I got 2.1 grams of oil, do you think I could rerun the Kief?
