Tangerine dream X Hawaiian skunk haze x Girl Scout cookie!

Hello all
this is my first time breeding and I have done a lot of reading about it and I hope to make my first hybrid. I will call her "Hawaiian Dream Girl"

I'm gonna start with my female tangerine dream and pollinate her with a Hawaiian skunk haze male. No will then breed the best children for 3 or 4 generations. I will take the best female ( pheno) and breed her with the parent male HSH . Those children will be bred for 3 gens and the best female from that group will be pollinated with a reversed Girl Scout cookie( female pollen) . These children will be bred for 3 gen and the best female will be pollinated with the original parent tangerine dream female pollen.breed these children till stable( 5 gens) pick best female and self her for final product.

Of course I will collect male pollen along the way from the best males of each generation for further breeding. Are there any steps I'm missing or any advice on my crosses . Does it soung like I'm doing it right. I want to make sure I have all the info I can get cause if I'm gonna do this it's gonna take years to accomplish and I don't want to fuck it up! Pic of the babies one out of 5 HSH reg. I'll get the tangerine dream up soon! Any advice is welcome !

what are your goals for "hawaiian dream girl"? your selections should be goal oriented (yield, resin production, vegetative structure, effect, taste ect.)so you know if your nearing your goals or just making random plants and crosses.
the other thing i wanted to ask wasdo you have any type of education regarding genetics? i only ask so i have an idea of the terminology youd understand like homozygous/ heterozygous, dominant vs. recessive genes blah blah blah

to be honest i dont think thats a very sound breeding plan, (not being offensive just trying to help)
if i were in your shoes i would pollinate the gsc and tangerine dream with the hsh then work those 2 lines until they are stable then bring them together diwn the road if you start losing vigor or just when your ready for the final f1 hybridization of the lines then if you choose to do so you could wirk that to perfection

but backcrossing to a heterozygous p1 is not a good idea unless your just looking for another plant like the p1 but it will also be heterozygous. thats why i suggest just keeping it basic and locking down your lines before you try a bunch of advanced techniques

I'm a total beginner and know just what I have time to read. I appreciate any info you can offer. So your saying it better off to make two lines that are stable then cross them?

I don't know what either strain has to offer. I have only smoked GSC and I have no idea what cut it was but it was some of the best smoke I've had. I have never heard of the Hawaiian skunk haze but it sounds good and I have only seen youtube videos of the tangerine dream, so I will have to grow all these girls out first to see what they have to offer. I deff want to stay away from the dreams 120 day flowering period. I hope to bring it to 80- 90.and the stretch after the flip is crazy insane so not sure about that trait. I really want a skunky minty kushness to it hopefully a bit nutty or chocolate taste. I want to get at least 4 oz off a 5 gallon girl of the product.i want the buds to be hard like the GSC and not fluffy like the dream. Not sure what the HSH has to offer other then a sperm donor! I don't want them to be to leggy either I want to maine line for 8 maine colas in about 8 wks of veg and 10-11 wks flower.

I also have another cross in mind I have an ak-48 I want to cross with my M.O.B! Hope to produce a monster that flowers super fast!

yes i would focus on the gsc line and try to get the smell, density and overall bag appeal from that then work the other line and find a less sativa leaning(vegetatively) but still very sativa (smoke effect) leaning plants to make up that one.
then bring them together once they have some stability in the lines

im pretty high but ill look for some relevant breeding articles in a sec if i can remember

My black hashplant was a polyhybrid that didn't breed true till the 7th filial generation

My Blue Hawaiian , Fucking Nice , SuperCritical Afghani , & my Critical Kosher KushWreck are all stabilized Polys Too , I wanna breed the Fucking Nice (Fucking Incredible x Shishkaberry x Mr.Nice ) x (Dj Shorts Blueberry ) with MOB

Polys Can Take Eons to Stabilize ! I prefer IBL's , Elites & Landraces to work with but ill definitely be creeping your Thread Broseph ! I cant wait to see ehat my HSH is gonna be like ! Flipping em as soon as the clones Root

I got some crazy strains Ill be breeding in feminized form along with some autos too soon ! Im excited to make My Tutankhamon spread its load all over my breeding chamber with cuts like Thc bomb Dinachem green crack purplewreck master kush cali blackberry kush cali blueberry og cotton candy and too many others to list Lmao , but if you need any breeding help with this project id take a few beans and stabilize em !

I was actually rethinking taste selection and if my tangerine dream is an orange pheno then I would like to have a chocolate mint kushness( GSC ) and the orange undertones of the tangerine dream. Like I said I have no idea what the Hawaiian skunk haze is gonna have to offer to the mix but we will see. I have already topped and taken clones from each the TD & GSC. The HSH plants got well fryer from a pest treatment. So I only have to to chooses from.
