Talk to me about Candy Cane from Crop King Seeds

Hey guys, I've been growing this thing for 68 days today. It is a 7 week flowering strain and it began showing signs of flowering at the end of week 3.

I am under a 600w Hortilux in FFoF 3 gallon air pot. I am using Fox Farm Dirty Dozen nutes at about half dose.

The plant is currently 32" tall and the pistils have ambered a bit and started receding into the seed bract. The smell is sweet, like oranges, very citrusy. I have smoked an undried popcorn bud(smallest one I could fine, mostly leaves) to test and I got high. It was not an ideal high, I didn't find humor or laugh very much bit I did see shit a little. Zoning out and way different than I am use to. The trichs are about 60-70% cloudy, no amber 30-40% clear.

This is my first grow.

The plant is beautiful and has large, filled out buds on it. They are super frosty as well. Nearly all the fan leaves have died or are lime green/yellow. All are curled. The sugar leaves appear healthy.

I have read three grow journals on this plant. One from Skidsteer on this site, saying that he harvested at about 65 days under 20/4 and high end care of a pro grower. He didn't spell it out, but I got the hint that he may have wished to let them go just a tad longer.

The second is from a bud review website that has a very similar setup to mine with similar pics/results. That person chose 83 days to harvest under 18/6, saying that at that time trichs were 50/50 amber.

The third grower is on a message forum that crashed an lost the data but iirc said the plant went 11 weeks, which is 77 days.

Currently I hope to harvest on day 78 more or less. I have some amazing photos, including several up close of the trichs and it is super frosty. The popcorn bud I smoked was nothing but hair and I never saw smoke exhale but still got high(basically off leaves).

Does anyone have any experience with this strain? CKS advertises this as 7 weeks of flower, meaning by their measure it would be done on Saturday(2 days).

I have grown several Crop King auto-fem's and the quickest I been able to harvest was 82 days but that was the Dwarf Low Flyer which is one of the quickest of their strains.

This was under a 600 watt HPS in 2L hempy pop bottles.....so not saying others are unable to finish faster, just saying mine take longer than the breeder indicates.

when growing with sunshine, 89 days was my best, and again it was the DLF, the other strains took even longer,,,and even longer when grown in soil, as opposed to hempy (drain-to-waste)

so it doesn't matter what the breeder says, or what others say they have done, all that matters is how your gals are doing...how about a pic?
