T8's

I've cfl's and I'm adding a 4 foot T8. Why, because I have one handy. Lol
If any has T8 experience, your help will be appreciated and used.

subbing to this. I grew cherry tomatoes and green bell peppers years ago with cfl and t8's in a closet. I recently dug out my 2ft t8 fixture and have 4 seedlings under it. there is 6-8" of space between bulb and seedlings. hopefully they don't start stretching too bad.

I use 4ft t8's for vegging until they are about 12-16 inches tall. It works extremely well keeping the plants compact very bushy with short nodes, much prefer them over cfl's. They don't have much penetration though, so for flowering they go under hps..
