symetrical nodes to asymetrical nodes?

Got 2 outdoor plants going right now. Both from seed and look great but one of the pair suddenly started growing asymetrical nodes.

Is that normal? Is just that at a particular point of maturity that starts happening?

I have only ever grown indoors with short veg periods and from seed...and i have never seen this before. The only asymetical nodes i have seen is from clones.

Starting flower or reaching sexual maturity, sounds like.

it can take time.. ive had strains wait 3 months to become "mature"
also outdoors
Is a loner maturation time more typical of sativas or indicas?

This strain is very obviously a sativa dom. Say probably 75/25. I dont think she is going to finish before the snow flies here... but this was just an experiment... wanted to see a pot plant grow live in its natural habitat...outside...lol but hopefully ill get a bit of bud to make some hash out of...
