Switching to New Brand of Nutes mid-grow. Safe or Not?

Ok, so the story is as follows:

I ran out of FF big bloom.
1 hydro-shop in the whole fucking state, and it's closed for the labor day week end.
I happen to have a set of Grow Micro Bloom from Advanced nutrients.

Since getting a new supply of FF big bloom is just not going to happen until the holiday is over. Can I switch to the Advanced Nutrient line in the middle of a current grow that I started using FF?

You may assume that I intend to flush very well before I do so.

Is it safe, will it hurt my plant, or should I just do with out for the next 5 days?

yes flush for at least a week then give 1/2 strength for another week and you'll be fine.

Flushing for a week is completely over kill. Flush with a clearex or the like for 2 hours, then switch to your grow micro bloom. I'm not familiar with AN's nute strength but if it was GH I could tell you a good ratio.

I agree, a short flush is all you need. I've switched several times in mid grow and not had any obvious ill effects.
