switching to hempy. K.I.S.S. question

So after switching from dwc to soil i decided to back down the hydro route. Just easier and better results.
Anyways, im going the maxibloom route as my base nute whole grow. I also picked up some dynagro protekt. This will be used in a perlite hempy bucket by the way.

I was just curious if there is anything else thats really,necessary ? I thought about some rapid start for extra root growth but other than i havent really foujd anything id need to add.

Ay opinions, or will the girls be happy with maxibloom and protekt?

ull be fine with just maxibloom! protekt is a good additive to add but not needed. if u start seeing cal/mag deficiencies, use GH calmagic @ 1ml per gal. I have 2 sample bottles of rapidstart that I don't even use cause I get too lazy to add another additive that I believe doesn't help much. I grow in 100% coco hempy using dyna gro and love it! k.i.s.s.

Nice. Yea i just picked up the protekt because i kept reading good things about it. Plus it has a N.P.K. value of 0.0.3 which i thought would be,beneficial during flower.

As far as calmag, will that even be an issue in perlite? I cant see a big salt build up occuring in perlite.

Yea ive been reading a lot about it lately with good results. Ill give it a shot.

Do you use maxibloom only? No calmag or any other supplement? What do you keep the ppm's at?

This run I added cyco silica(till 5th week of bloom) and calimagic (till week 2 of bloom)...just to see if it helps....I already see quicker growth and stronger limbs...

I'm a hempy and Maxibloom mega fan. You will find no simpler combo on fucking earth I promise. When I completed my first grow it almost felt like cheating. This is the epitome of keeping it simple.

Agreed with the 1ml/gal of cal-mag in coco. I prefer my hempy using the original perlite/vermiculite combination.

I've experimented with hempy in the following mediums with great results: 100% coco/50-50 coco perlite/100% perlite/70-30 perlite vermiculite.

Nice, nice. Im gonna try 100% perlite for my first time.

As for the nutes ive kind of strayed from using only maxibloom. But i have limited myself to what i have now.
Ill be using the following...
Maxibloom
Dynagro protekt
HG roots excel
AN overdrive

I feel the protekt and roots excel will be a good addition to the mix. And the overdrive is just to see if the stuff works. We will see

I'm currently doing maxi bloom in coco hempy buckets. 100% coco. No cal mag or anything else. I will be adding flora plus once buds start showing only because my hydro guy gave me a free sample. the problem I have, is I use so much ph up... Any additives I could possibly use that raises the ph up and is cheaper? If not, I'll just dial exactly how much ph up to use May take awhile but I'll have to figure it out.

Ive been told dynagro protekt raises the ph a little. That wouldnt be a bad choice to add to the mix

I've been experimenting with a number of styles...
gave up on DWC; rot ran us out...
so we salvaged the main/mothers using 100% perlite in hempy w/bennies...worked like a f&cking charm!!!!!!
took the clones to 30/70 coco/perlite ...
TBH I can't see given the simplicity, cost and everything considered why in the world anyone would do anything any different...

I've used 100% maxibloom which made stupid frosty buds w/o any other additives!!!!
use Canna coc 2pt; had a few issue but after correcting mg, looks like its likewise a winner...
and for that matter so is GH 2pt lucas/H3ads formula

friggin simple easy/peasy works.....

...we are adding a pk 13/14 just to see if we can tweak a lil more, but gheez....we couldn't be more pleased!!!1

Can you post your feed chart? It'd be helpful, as I'm interested in ditching all these expensive Holland's Secret bottles in favor of a simpler solution.
