Sweet Seeds "Green Poison"......

This is my 8th grow of this strain..........I've documented grows here and elsewhere numerous times. 24 plants under 2200 watts, extremely healthy and happy in day 25 of flowering. Pinched once to control height, the yield when finished will be over 3 lbs. when done. They love their cal/mag and I'll keep the nitrogen levels fairly high until the end of this week. This is the regular feminized version, not the "fast" version or auto also offered by Sweet Seeds. This is supposed to be 70% indica/30% sativa but I'm guessing it's more like 50/50 these days. These will go to at least 65 days, maybe a few days later to really bring out the fruity/spicey goodness. As I've said before, not the absolute strongest, quickest, heaviest, tastiest, etc....but you'll be hard pressed to find a strain that still gets pretty high marks in every category you can think of- it's very well rounded if you get my drift. It remains one of my favorites.......

Hey Mo, knew you'd be by eventually. My nicest crop in a long time, healthy and stinky and I'm not even to week 4 yet. This will be a classic!

I couldn't fit the whole room in the picture, but you get the drift. Looking for my next strain to order, what are you currently growing or recommending these days?

Hell yeah mate, I definitely get the drift, they look perfect hey!!
Hmm, it's always a hard choice to make, especially if you have over 100 strains already ha ha.
I'm running some Sin City gear at the moment, the blue lime pie, platinum delights and the powernap are really impressing me, heaps of frost and some really nice smells coming out. Other than that, I have a sinmints going too. Also have some of my own pollen chuck beans going, had massive issues with heat this year so they look terrible, just hoping they still ripen! I popped some new beans a few weeks ago for my organic run, blue og from G13 labs and some tester beans for @bigworm6969
I'm hanging to get my Sin City gorilla grip and in house purple gorilla and velvet pue going though, will have to wait for next round!
What are you leaning towards? Heavy hitter or uplifting?

I'd like to see ya run salmon river OG by dynasty.
I've been studying Dynasty for the last few days, as many people are comparing their stuff to Bodhi BUT no feminized items which I prefer. I'd have to start 48 plants to get 24 females, which would be a challenge. I've done it before, but not sure I want to deal with it. I could also buy it now and clone some mothers, but more work too.

Yeah..its a time consuming no doubt, I like to 12-12 from seed n see what I'm working with n keep the best n ditch the rest.. Lemon skunk by DNA is another strain I'd love to see a journal on.

As you may or may not know, I've been mainly doing kushes of late with an occasional Green Poison grow. My personal preferences are a nice 50/50 mix or there-abouts, but people prefer the heavy indica's these days. There are so many things out there today, it takes forever to zero in. Whatever it is though, it has to be commercially viable (weight wise) and quality at the end. If I could stand the smell, I'd be doing the Holy Grail Kush again without hesitation but it's just TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stinky. Weren't you producing some seeds for me??????LOL

Funny, you guys are nailing some strains I've studied up on the last 2 days. I've read great reports on the Lemon Skunk and like DNA's stuff (actually I like Reserva Privada stuff too, their sister company)...........looked at the Lemon OG Kush too. Might head that way after all........So many seeds to grow, so little time.

By the way, how can heat be an issue where you are????? In the winter, my crops are so much better because heat isn't an issue. My walls and floor stay nice and cool and really help temps.......

Yeah I've seen your kush grows, very impressive, kushes are always a good strain to grow! The green poison sounds good too!
Hmm, have you considered blue dream or jack herer? They both produce well and have a pretty solid whack too them. Not quite 50/50 but still give a knock out stone. The only others I can vouch for are GDP candyland and Nightmare og from sin city. The candyland doesn't yield much though. A strain I always have in my stable is Big Blue from BC seed co, produces well and the stone is narcotic! That holy grail kush is ridiculously stinky, had a close mate grow it a few times and I could smell it coming up the street, not so good where it's illegal ha ha.
Mate, I've got heaps of beans I could send you, only issue is I have to show ID at the post office to send it over, so if they get snagged by your customs, I'm up shit creek. I've been trying to find another way (courier etc) but they all require ID for customs clearance :(
Edit - it's middle of summer in Oz mate, been in the high 30's centigrade the last 2 months! Really hard to keep my grow box cool when over night temps are still mid 20's!

Why did I think you were in Canada...............confused I guess.

I think you mentioned to me the Big Blue from BC Seeds before.....I'll have to look it up again. My wife told me if I grew H.G.K. ever again, no more sex. You could smell it from the bottom of the driveway and I use a high powered Big Blue Ozone device. I have a narc cop living next to me on the cul-de-sac and another cop living behind so she worries constantly.

I was only half kidding about the seeds......worry not. I wouldn't want you to have any issues, I have- it sucks.

I do own Sugar Punch seeds from Sannie, a wonderful strain quality wise but it has alot of pheno's and many of them grow crazy large. I think about this strain a lot, BUT I know I'll be miserable for 3+ months trying to maintain the room......

Ha ha all good mate, if I was in Canada, I'd send you thousands of beans!! No need to worry, Id happily send them if it wasn't jail time here!

Yeah that big blue gets me every time, such a sweet flavour from the NL #5 and blueberry, right up my ally!

That's too funny about your wife, I reckon mine would do the same, she nearly did once, grew some stinky ass skunk that woke me up in the middle of the night thinking something was dead! Not good for you with the narcs hey, must keep your anxiety levels pretty high?

Sugar punch looks very nice too, eyed that one off a while back but sannie doesnt send to Oz!

Another suggestion to try is blue og from G13 labs, I've grown it outdoor and in and its a perfect mix of blue moonshine and og, very frosty and fairly large yields for an og cross! I've got one going now as a matter of fact!

Can't find the Big Blue anymore.....used to grow their N.L. #5 for over 2 years back in the 90's........loved it but grew it a few years ago (2 plants) and it wasn't that good anymore.

G13Labs worries me.....discount breeder, most of their stuff is only ok.

Whatever I choose, it has to be a proven commodity.....This is my living and can't afford to waste 3 months to end up with a shit final product.

And no, I've been doing this for so long, I think I have my system down pat and don't worry anymore about the cops. It's a close knit neighborhood, and our families are friends- especially the wives. I don't do any business out of the house so there is no traffic in and out and as a 60 year old man, you'd never know I was a pothead and grower for 25+ years. People just think I retired early and just walk the dog and do lawn work a lot. LOL

There are quite a few places that still sell big blue...Tude has them but they can be found cheaper elsewhere https://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/british-columbia-seeds-big-blue/prod_4558.html
Just realised they are only regs though so that rules them out, sorry man!
I agree with G13 labs, i tried their C99 and it was straight up pathetic. Speaking of which, have you tried Female Seeds C99? While it is considered full sativa, if you let it go past the 55 day mark (going from Kite High's grows RIP), it becomes a full couchlock...it's very stable as well and yields pretty well. Totally get what you mean about not wanting to waste 3 months, I only grow for myself and it shits me when I do, I can only imagine what it's like on a larger scale!!

Great work man, it does sound like you got it down pat, good to keep in close with the local constabulary too ha ha lol. I would never have picked you for being 60 too mate, you do write well, but I'd have said maybe early 40's...but I guess I think everyone who speaks well is my age LOL

I have never grown Female's C99 but curiously I have recommended it too others ......I know it's one of the better ones on the market. Also check out Apollo 11 which is a specialized C99 and is also well regarded. I've always wanted to do something from Female Seeds, people seem to like them. Ace Seeds too has a good reputation.
