Swanky's 1st experiment with re-vegged clones

Why did I do it? It was my first grow, I was learning on the fly, and I didn't take any clones pre-flower. After sexing I wanted to keep the ladies going. Doing the research I learned that it is possible to take clones and re-veg.

What did I do? Took cuttings that are budding near the base of the plant, dipped in gel, into peat-pellets.

10/19/14: Six cuttings from close to the base.

10/23/14: Not thriving.

10/30/14: Looks like only one is going to make it.

11/21/14: Here is the only one that made it.

11/29/14: True leaves emerging.

What did I learn? Two things. The first, a guess, but probably accurate... the cuttings that died did not have enough bud growth. The cutting that survived had the the most bud growth. Second thing, the soil I transplanted to (Vigoro Organic) was ruining the grow. The plant had stopped all development until I transplanted it into a soil-less mix that had about 20% Vigoro mixed in. Now it is thriving.

Questions for those with experience re-vegging:
1. How bushy is this thing going to get? (It is a solidly sativa Skunk-Haze)
2. How long to veg now that it has recovered and is growing quickly?

12/18/14: 1 week of 12/12. Transplanted to 4 gallon. The roots still had room to grow.

12/29/14: 2 weeks of 12/12. Showing pistils. This past week showed some signs of over-feeding. Upper fan-leaf tips curling down progressing to crispy death. This one is growing next to a Critical (mainly indica). Both have received the same feeding and watering schedule and the Critical has no problems. From what I have read, sativa dominant can be a much lighter feeder than indica dominant and so I think over-feeding is the problem. The feed was 1/2 tsp 5-1-1 Fish Emulsion in two quarts of tap water. This mix was watered into 4 gallons of a 50/50 mix of organic potting soil and peat, amended with 2 tbsp bone meal. The last feeding was 2 weeks ago at the time of the switch to 12/12.

You could have just revegged the entire plant after it was done budding and then taken cloness from that. That's usually what I do. The good thing is that when i re-veg a flowered plant, it makes a fuck ton more shoots than normal and you have a shit load of cuttings to choose from.

12/30/14: LST.
01/01/15: 1 week of flower.

This phenotype is one sensitive baby. Check out the droopy leaf tips. After with-holding water for five days, this thing got droopy again after 1 1/2 quarts. Plus it still has the yellowing. Same problems in the first grow with this one.

Any ideas? Hold off on the watering even longer?

01/22/15: 28 days of flower. Getting longer. Sativa all the way. The first grow with this one was my first and had any number of mistakes. Doing better this time and didn't plan on this much size. The plant is trained low and it is as tall or taller then my first grow that was only staked.

01/29/15 35 days of flower. It has become a bushy beast. I'm a little scared of what comes next.

Who has experience with this...

All over the plant there are single fat buds growing near the nodes. Will this continue to fill in with more buds or will they stay all alone?

Bro that's a very sativa dom plant that girl has a good long way to go. Those buds are going to swell once she goes into that phase of flowering but those budsites are just getting formed. They will continue to get bigger and later will start swelling. Keep this girl green as long as you can and she will reward you will some sativa loveliness  you have her very happy so just keep doing what your doing

Thanks for the reply.

This is only my second grow and I corrected some problems from the first grow. The mother of this plant didn't put out those single buds first time around so I didn't know if they were a sign of a problem.
