Surfers and snowboarders...

Hey guys..

Just thought I see if any one from any where in the world lived in a warm surf location or a super snowy mountain range lol.

I'm a keen surfer and love to snowboard when I get the chance. I live in the UK.. So looking to travel.

I'm wanting to spend a winter in the snow, then a summer in the surf and repeat over and over lol.

Would be good to get dom contacts ir any local knowlage from any of you who live anywhere in the world! Any one that doesn't live somewhere like this but travels often and had some shit to chat about. Feel free to say hi.

California has a TV commercial, says hit the waves in the morning and the slopes at night! Or something like that..lols

I work in South Lake Tahoe, beautiful place. I see so many tourists during this time of year for the snow I imagine, good for business. No surfing in the lake tho

I live in QLD Australia. Surf is not too bad up here. A bit small for me unless we get a cyclone swell. Sub tropical climate so our winter avg temp is about 23c. In summer it's like 30c. I am from southern Vic and grew up surfing in Antarctic conditions on waves as big as a block of flats. Slabs we call them

My fav place on earth to surf is Fiji. If you ever go there, check out the place where the WSL surf contest is held (cloud break). The whole experience of surfing there is something special. Right down to the boat trip out there. The isolation, fury and perfection is something I will never, ever, forget.
