Im used to low yields growing sativas so I never worry about it that much when it comes to what I deem as a keeper. I did end up with another pheno that looks like the shorter one. Had a mishap with the mother plant so had to pull this pheno out of of a few days flower. Vegging clone now to put in flower, this pheno smells the best & is a fucking beast!

Yes they are regs, I ended up with one male out of 4 seeds. The male looked like the lanky one but with less stretch but I culled it before it got into the stretch. I may hit the girls with some pollen but not sure from who.

Two options, OGKB x SSH or reverse my Ghost OG x Tahoe Cure keeper. The OGKB would be cool as I think I would get a similar progeny to the Gelato to pheno hunt through.

Reversing my Ghost Cure to make S1's & hit a few other lingering plants still in tent one of those being the Gelato. Never reversed a plant so I think this will be fun to do. I feel you on making your own Gelato, I'm trying to make wedding cake like seed junkie.

this strain listed below is the only type ive seen with the wedding/birthday/anniversary cake from urbangreenbirmingham/reliableusaseedbank, nabbed a pack few mths ago...gonna hit 3 of her girls with Sinmints, Cannarado Shave Ice & Uprising SeedCo 33 Splitter next pollen chuck session

Its funny I had a pack of Amimal Mints but messed up from old crap germination method. I have Animal Cookies x Cookie Crisp (Trade Bait Cookies) & Enough TK hybrid packs to find something killer along with a pack of sinmints.

I don't believe the birthday cake is the same genetics as wedding cake.

I'm kinda making my own "cookies" using African sativas & OG's. Don't know what F1 Durban really is but looking to make own secret sativa cross to hit to a TK.

Pretty good imo, I'll have to snap pics later.

The shorter pheno is filling in nicely some decent size nugs for how Small I grow um. Not as dense as the Forum BX I have but defiantly more terps to the Gelato 33 bx. It smells like like a slightly fruity perfume kush while the other tall pheno is just the perfume kush.

Tall pheno is still yielding low but if the smoke is good I'll keep it around long enough to make chucks with haha!!

Your right hit the real maker if you can but Gelato 33 is a clone only I won't have access anytime soon. Seeds are my best best & I don't mind growing shit that doesn't have grow journals. I wouldn't buy Candyland from Surebred but it's just their Inhouse version of it so it seems. Seen other smaller breeders do the same like elev8seeds they have a bunch of knockoffs as well.

aye but is the maker(GDP) the same as before the breakup with breeder(DVG)? havnt heard or seen anyone growing out & raving about Candyland these last few yrs? the Candyland of yore was by all accounts something to crawl a mile over broken glass to obtain, anyway again the need for trailblazers for these new banks as 'testers'

Ok here is the short pheno. Buds are getting denser by the day. I'll have to get better pics with my other camera but the buds look pretty good. It's like a sweet kush smell that's getter better as well.

Vegging out another pheno that is like this one but fatter stems & stronger smell in veg. Give it another week or two & I'll flower it out.

sounds good!, very interested to see how those terps develop from hereon in, though you guys are wearing some real hot temps there...your US arnt you? so if they purp up it wont be brought about by cooler temps!

TBH i thought there would have been a lot more interest shown here on the Gelato 33 as its known to be one of the best types around these last few yrs? guess most people are happy with their solid proven performing strains to venture into uncharted territory?

Chopped the plant a good few days ago. Had to take her down early because I saw a little mold, so lost a good bit of the top cola.

The terps are fairly mild but it's a sweet cookie aroma with the fruitiness of the Sherbert. This plant would have done a lot better for sure if grown in cooler temps. Even my other strains which I grew before had less smell this round so...

Smoking some of the lowers its smokes about the same as one of my Forum BX's just not the same taste. This has a taste on the exhale I can describe yet will have to get back to you. Potency is decent but doesn't hit me like my other keepers.

Overall it's a decent Gelato cross imo I didn't think it was a keeper but it got chopped early. My Morning Breath (OGKB x SSH) is still my top Cookie smoke & she was practically fully seeded haha so she is hard to beat right now.
