Supercropping and Canopy Control

Seems you got the mainlining down budolski, nice job. Going to have to try that someday, maybe next round.

Mine is more of an organized chaos sort of thing :D

(tinfoil is just to close the netcup better, haven't found a supplier for neoprene insert in NL yet).

The grow gods have visited my closet last night and caused a budsplosion, safety glasses recommended:

They are definitely getting bigger and fatter than in hempy last round. I wish I could post the smell, although "cannalope haze" sums it up pretty good. I went into this round expecting less than usual because the two moms of the clones weren't huge yielders and the 480ppm test, but especially consider how long 3 of the 6 still have to go I think I may have to buy an extra jar or two.

ii mine are not mainlined propaly like with the symetrical growth and that as they are clones....

i juts try for a roughly even canopy so i get a few nice big colas and very little scrap on the bottom

Heres my blue widow main-line twins
Good job on filling up that space uniformly, keep us posted.

@budolskie: Looks like your on to a field of colas, very nice job. Are you flipping to 12/12 soon or are you going to veg longer?

Had to cut the top of two larger buds yesterday after I noticed a brown/yellow sugar leaf - bud rot. Damn, I was worried this would happen. Had a couple of moist weeks, rainy, impossible for me to keep humidity low. About 57-62% RH during the night. I noticed it very early and only lost about 5 grams dry but the buds still have some time to go. Almost at 8 weeks 12/12, almost done (the compact pheno). Rest of the buds look clean, keeping a close eye on them. I may have to harvest 3-5 sooner than expected. I'll post some pics later.

I have an exhaust in the closet with 3x the capacity of the one I'm using but no carbon filter on it yet so can't use it without giving the entire neighborhood and flat a haze smell. Plus it doesn't really help much unless sucking in more dry air, which I have none available. Makes me hate the weather here even more. Also ,akes me reconsider the mainlining. I grow many smaller buds instead of less but larger colas to avoid this, unless I grow a haze with foxtail structure, which next round won't be the case...

This is one from which I remove the top bud cause it had a little rot in it. All the way in the back corner, most far opposite of fans...
pheno_compact_almostdone.jpg

As you can see, almost done, but not entirely yet.

Most buds in the shot (except some on the right front and two plants in the back) are from the haze/foxtail pheno, not really worried about these, I can also inspect them more easily by sort of bending the bud open. Once the compact pheno is harvested (3 plants) the humidity level will drop a lot as well so should be able to finish these without probs:

Edit: dropped ppm from 480 to 430 over the past 5 days or so, currently only 390 ppm.

Nice dude, real nice! That's a fast haze hybrid. You gotta love that, I'm sure the smoke is great. I love anything haze, but it usually stretches the flowering times out a bit. Have you ever tried C99? I think your style would CRUSH it!
Guess what, I was just informed the Cannalope Haze actually is C99 or at least a C99 pheno or cross. o_O So the C99 pheno of CH (or the short pheno of C99) is almost done, going to harvest those within days, which is roughly 8 weeks. The more haze pheno is still foxtailing on and on, will take 1 or even two weeks longer. Hopefully not 3 :)

I knew it! Haha. Looking at those latest pics I thought it looked just like my C99. That's great man, such a lovely strain. My pheno does foxtail as well, I notice it more with mature plants, not as much when switched to flower early in veg. Nicely done my friend, I hope you're looking forward to tasting it. I'm guessing she comes down on the early side of your window :)

I can't say I'm disappointed to find out it's a C99 knockoff but it sort of brings me back where I started. Remember we talked about NL#5xHaze and O haze and how I wanted to get back to something pure without the same old IBLs I started smoking over two decades ago. I ended up going for cannalope haze as it supposedly was O haze x Mexican sativa, as an alternative, a shortcut to O haze genetics sort of, but in reality it contains NL#5, O Haze, Skunk, Shiva Skunk... funny, I was trying to avoid skunk and NL for a while and now have thousands of seeds with the same genetics again. 3 crosses (with ICE, chunk, and my L8N8 seed) and CHxCH. I got about 700 of those..., basically C99xC99.... I can't call it cannalope haze anymore, and don't know what dna crossed c99 with to make cannalope haze beans. Some how CH99 seems fitting...

Anyway, great job spotting the C99 man, impressive :)

Oh and i have tasted it already, had about 2oz of unseeded CH99 bud last run. Smoked it all before even starting on the other 3 strains I had buds of. :bigjoint: That's why I went with all CH99 clones this round.
